Now, let's not jump to conclusions. The
site says Revolution Fanboy, but do you truly know what it's about? Do you understand this blog's needs, its
passions, its secret desires and its dreams? Of course you don't. Allow me to provide the answers to the questions
already racing through your mind.Q: Revolution...what's that?
A: It's when you overthrow one government and replace it with another. It's also a kind flea medication for cats and dogs.
Q: Overthrowing the government? Where do I sign on?
A: No no, this blog is about the Nintendo Revolution.
Q: Nintendo is overthrowing the government?
A: Not yet, but they're certainly stirring up some controversy in the gaming industry.
Q: I'm still very interested in overthrowing the government. You had my hopes up back there.
A: Well, we don't endorse that sort of thing.
Q: And I don't endorse fanboys. I've heard of your kind.
A: True, the term of "fanboy" has become a derogatory one as of late, but we're planning to change all that. In our minds, a fanboy has an insatiable thirst for knowledge and an irrepressible passion for gaming in all its forms, and this blog hopes to funnel those qualities towards the Nintendo Revolution. We've got the other machines within our peripheral vision and we respect them - it's just that we choose to make the Revolution the focal point of our internet investigations and our undoubtedly smug remarks. We're excited about it, that's all!
Q: Ah, I understand. But what's with this "we" and "us" stuff? Aren't you just one guy?
A: Well, no. Ludwig Kietzmann, Christopher Linton and Ed Stasick will be providing you with your Revolution fix. They're all mostly sane.
Q: Now you're speaking in third-person....
A: Oh yeah, well you don't even exist. We just made up all those questions as an introductory blog post. And...that wasn't even a question!
Welcome to Revolution Fanboy. It's going to be interesting.

I should have posted earlier today when I first saw this site, before aceflash11 got a chance to open up the comments on this site~
But anyway, congratulations on opening the new site! You should mention the start of this new blog on your other blogs, but you of course already plan to.
In any case, keep up the good work as you do with your other blogs! I do have just one question, though, that's been bothering me for a while: Where, geographically, are you guys located??
Thanks. ;)

Actually, I know full well what the blog's needs and desires are. See, way back in '96, we were both roadies for Alice in Chains. She was young, passionate, and full of life; I often would drink until the point where I would pass out on the equipment.
One day, a spark, a fire, a desire bridged the gap between us and we became one. We learned everything about eachother; she quickly memorized my favorite drinks and I was privy to her favorite iced cream - pistachio. But, alas, like most true love, it was not meant to be.
She got hooked on drugs, a habit that ansorbed her something fierce, and it all became about the drugs, leaving the pistachio-flavored iced cream behind to melt to a sticky paste on the pavement. I had to leave her behind, I couldn't be entangled in the dastardly web that is drug addiction.
But now, years later, I see she's looking good and has found her calling in life: Journalism.

Not sure if this is where to post it but just wanted to let peeps know.
I walked into EB in Fountain Gate (VIC, Australia) on Sat and found out they have just started taking pre-orders for the Nintendo Revolution.
EB Miranda (NSW, Australia) is also taking pre-orders... Not sure about other places.
So what did I do.... I did what any other Nintendo Fanboy would do. I cancled my Pre-Order for the Xbox 360 and wacked it straight onto the Nintendo Revolution... (I wasn't getting the 360, just wanted to make sure I didn't spend the money so I had a deposit for the Revolution)
The good news for me is that they said I was the FIRST person to pre-order it (through EB Fountain Gate)... I even beat 3 of their staff members wanting to pre-order to the punch.. hehe.
Just thought I'd let you know... (If any Australians read this... Go and PRE-Order your rev to make sure you get it in the first released batch... They said that they've put it on Pre-order so early in the game because there has been so many queries about it!!!)
