Nintendo Wii Fanboy

Between the supposed choices, I'd go for either the Prince or Rayman, as they're the most iconic characters for Ubi Soft, in my opinion. Rayman seems more likely out of the two.

As much as I would love to see Jade in SSBB, or a sequel to Beyond Good & Evil for that matter, I seriously doubt this is true. Besides, wouldn't they need an OK from Tom Clancy in Sam's case? If you can remember the whole "Ridley and Wind Waker Link" thing, this looks like the same deal here. I'll only believe it when I see screenshots.

And I know I won't see any.

I would say the best choice is rayman, mainly since nintendo is making kind of a big deal out of Raving rabits. And he fits into the whole nintendo theme, although snake versus Sam would be sweet!(I think nintendo would know that and not put in sam to avoid something like that, shame). And about BG&E, I thought michelle Ancel said he was working on it when ubisoft told him to start on king kong, and now that he is done he is back on BG&E 2.

I never played Beyond Good and Evil. I know, I'm a bad gamer. But I don't think Jade is iconic quite like Rayman is, so my vote goes to the limbless dude.

no metacore, ancel is also in charge of the rayman game, so maybe after rayman, but i hear that him and jackson wanted to do a game only sequal to king kong because the movie based game had an alternate ending that makes a sequal possible

Jade would be a great addition to the roster! Beyond Good & Evil was excellent. I really hope a sequel is made for the Wii. Being able to play as the Prince is very appealing to me as well.

I'm not too sure about Sam though. Metal Gear Solid has a lot of humour and charm that I believe Splinter Cell is missing. Snake just somehow seems to fit in the Smash Bros. universe, to me anyway.

With that said, Rayman does seem like a more obvious choice with the upcoming Wii title, though I'm not particularly fond of his character design.

I think the safest choice would be Rayman, given his more cartoony and over-the-top kind of feel. He'd fit in the best with the likes of Mario, Kirby and crew. That said, I was pretty surprised to see Solid Snake get involved, but who knows....

Rayman or Jade, I say. Ancel's guys. They'd fit best by far. It would be rubbish if after as interesting a prospect as this, Sam Fisher was the only Ubi character involved, since he'd basically just be Ganondorf to Snake's Captain Falcon.

Jade is a pretty weak character for SSB. Sam Fischer would be way to much like solid snake. I think the prince's agility and speed (and dual personality) would be a perfect match for the game. Rayman would also be pretty good because hes very cartoonish and matches the artwork of the series. Overall I think that the prince would be the sweetest choice.

I'm going to say the Prince is more likely over Rayman. But a good chance that if there is in fact character(s) from Ubisoft then it will be both.

I do however remember the man developing this game saying that it would only be Nintendo characters making an appearance with perhaps 1 or 2 special appearances. Then again he could have said licensed Nintendo characters, which makes all the difference in the world.

Regardless I really can't wait for this game.

On a side note I think Nintendo is on the right track here. I was getting bored and tired with gaming, as much as I hate to admit. Buying and playing less and less, games seemed to have gotten as good as they were going to get for a while, which was sad. I think Nintendo may have sparked my interest in this dire time of need. I have bought every console and handheld since Ralph Baer's little brown box and I wasn't really considering buying any this upcoming generation until now. And of course was considering a 360 because of Halo 3 and the impression from the first Halo that is borred into my brain, but that really wasn't enough.

I don't really agree with a character in SSB who hasn't even had an exclusive title on a Nintendo console. Sam Fisher and Sonic are out for me. Rayman 2 wasn't that great of a game, either.

Rayman is the only choice out of those that seem likely. Though Bomberman WOULD be a good idea, and also possible, seeing as how he was featured in an N64 game that was pretty good.

OK listen to me...Rayman is a great choice...but im not talking about the ravin rabids one the original one shooting energy out of his hands and those specical gloves...also for rayman 2 that floting girl could be a special item that gives u extra damge or something... Snake is already in and so is kirbys enemy pit and stuff but of coesr thats not going to be all. Nintendo wants to hit the gaming world with a bang and they will need one of the classic charactors in their. But about Sonic. there could be a chance and maybe u could use chao. Im also thinking that they could also have All or most of the Kongs from Donkey kong. donkey 64 is a great game and the charactors are staight up awsome.Prince of Persia is a no no.. hes a bit freaky looking.Maybe Amy sonics girl can be in there two. But legond of Zelda wolf might just be in there with that dark princess girl. that would be wise. And i dont think they will get rid of any of the old charactors. I mean Iceclimers are cool.(though they can be the best if u know how to play um).Maybe that pink thing that yoshi hangs with will be a playable charactor. Very solid charactor.Oh and Toad would be great raming with that big head, gotta love mario guys. Oh that Doctor that heled luigie in luiges mansion could use the vacume . Captain Omar better be in there.And king D.D.D would be coolio.Well im am Expecting Rayman. He hasnt been in a real serius game in a while and he needs to be in this one he is awsome. u guys tell me any more charactors or any coments.:)

ADown-does a Punch twister or something like he twirls and punches everything around him
BUp-Does his Helicopter
BDown-Does a Ground Pound like he did in R3 for GBA
ZFront-he grabs his opponents and throws him (like in the rabbids minigame Bunnies don't know what to do with cows)
Taunt-One of the shouts he did in R3 (consoles) when he beat all the hoodlums in the area or got to the end of a really really long level

actually Brad, Rayman did have a game eclusive for a nintendo system. Hoodlum's Revenge, a different version of Rabbids for the GBA, and another different version of it for DS.

Rayman would be just perfect char!
Think about it. Moves would be easy to make. Like neutral B would be punch throw. A just punch. And A smash would be kick.
Then there should be Rabbid as Assist Trophy. He just screams: "Daaaah!" and bunch of rabbids just runs past the stage with their suckers.
