Nintendo's Project H.A.M.M.E.R. revolves around a half-human, half-cyborg, giant hammer-wielding protagonist who is charged with stopping an invading army of robots. These robots have selected every major city in the United States to attack and with incredibly large hammer in metallic hand, players will control the protagonist's attacks in real-time with the Wiimote.
The latest update on the game comes to us in a huge screenshot release. In over 30 images, we get a closer look at some of the enemy robots as well as a front row seat to the carnage inflicted upon them (see: death by giant hammer). Also, some of the tutorial screens are present, displaying exactly how one would perform the moves available in the game.

Hmmm...Nothing new here. These are still images of the early demo version that was on display at E3 2006. Man!!! Nintendo really knows how to keep a tight lid on all launch or in the launch windows games for the Wii. We haven't seen any real update on the games coming out at launch.
I am sure great improvement have been done to all of them. I guess Sept. will be the time we see all the launch games polished and ready for retail.

The main character seems to have a shadow but not the robots; must be early code. The motion blur effects seem impressive. Looks like a good arcade title, like Golden Axe in 3D.
Is anyone familiar with Marvel's Thor? That superhero character would be the perfect license for the Project H.A.M.M.E.R. game engine.
Looking forward to videos of this game now.

You can't have a half-human, half-cyborg. A cyborg is a cyber-organism - it's a human that's been enhanced with robotic parts. So a cyborg is half-human, half-robot.

Ummm, isn't it a bit redundant saying "half-human, half-cyborg" since a cyborg is already a man-machine hybrid? Unless you're saying that one of his parents was a cyborg and the other was a human. See, THEN it would make sense.

Lol, half human half cyborg. Cyborg = half human half robot
Therefore, he's 3/4 human, and only 1/4 robot.
What a pussy... :P

Cyborg=Organic/Robotic
I don't think there's really any definate measure of it. Saying he's half-human and half-cyborg means the same thing as just being a cyborg... :/
Game looks cool though. The pixellation is annoying, however... I'm excited. :D

Mr. Hinkle, you do realize that the term "cyborg" does in fact imply that the persona in question is half-human, right?
Just sayin'.

Yes, I think Mr. Hinkle gets the idea. He's not blind. Besides I thought cyborg meant robot too and so do a lot of other people I know.
