Of the latest scans for the DBZ game on the Wii, a weird yellow box is shown. Next to the box, little plastic clips that attach to the player's index fingers are also shown. Now, it's fairly obvious that this is so that the player may toss fireballs in the game by going through the motions in reality and the box is designed to sit atop the television, but why would such a large box be needed in conjunction with the clips. Couldn't they just be made to work with the sensor bar? Or is this the first sign of some startling truths delivered via the rumor train? Also, where is the Wiimote? It's nowhere to be seen!Any readers want to take a stab at translating the text surrounding the image in question?

The finger clips are as cool as that yellow box is ugly.

I think the box/clips are for the PS2 or PS3 version, to mimic the Wii's functionabilty

I think Colin has it spot on. Cuz it really isn't that hard to believe, right?
I mean, Sony *did* copy the Wiimote. Now they might be actually trying something innovative for once (even if it is a indirect ripoff of the Wii version of the game).

Maybe the peripheral is actually for the Wii version of the game. I mean think about it. Do you really want to hold something you could accidentally drop while trying to emulate special moves?

Whatever it is, it could be quite interesting. Since the Wii is suppose to sense motions in an area of space this could be an interesting adaptor. Afterall, if my memory serves me correct, wasn't it said in a previous article that DBZ would display all the functions that the Wii has? This could be an interesting fall.

from what I can tell.. its coming out late October, will be 7875 Yen, and of course, being made by Bandai.
On the above picture, with the ugly yellow box, it says something about a "Dragon Band" on your arm, and something bout character movements being performed. The kanji is too blurry, sorry guys. But the finger things are definitely called "Dragon Bands"
"Using the dragon band ________ " then something about a real life-type of game..."
Below lower picture, the text pointing to the crazy kid going a kamehameha..
It says "koodo" which could be Code or Cord. Though it could be both, since I can't read the crappy kanji. I think what it is trying to say is "Without cords, ____ above the TV Set!
Second part of that tiny paragraph says "Finally you can Kamehameha!" or something to that effect, it says "Tsuini, kimiga kamehameha wo __teru bigakita(tsu-katakana??)!!
So together we have "No more cords, with ___ above the TV set! Finally you can do a Kamehameha!"
I'm missing a few words in there because of the grainy pic. Sorry fellas.
Hope this helps you.

Hey - sorry to disappoint every one of you, but this isn't a Wii game, or even a console game.
In the game information box, where it lists the price and release (and there's no way a Wii game would cost that much, by the way), the third information from the top says "Platform: Let's! TV Play". I'm guessing this is one of those plug-in game machines with a single game, kinda like that Dragon Quest swordfighting game Square-Enix released a while back.
Ahh, our eyes are blind when we are excited, no?

You're absolutely right, I just saw that now, that it said Let's! TV Purei in that info box. I was like what the hell is that? But yeah, it appears to be a stand alone unit.. a shame, all those classic characters. I couldnt find a Nintendo logo or Wii on there, let alone Sony/PS2/3 or XBOX. No sense in trying to translate any more, even though I got a bit of the kanji now, hehe.

I agree with Remedy. Not only is the Wiimote missing, but so is the console. Looks like the cord from the yellow box is connected directly to the TV.

Sorry for double post, but had to comment on the "no way a Wii game would cost that much" For a 3rd party title that comes with an extra peripheral.. $65 is too much?

Vincent>>Yeah, you're right - I guess with a peripheral, a third-party game could cost that much, though even AAA titles in Japan rarely cost that much (usually in the 6800-7800 yen range).
Find it funny how Wii Fanboy were so excited and presumptious - "Of the latest scans for the DBZ game on the Wii...", "Also, where is the Wiimote? It's nowhere to be seen!" haha, cos it's not a Wii game, silly!

Yup, none of us looked for the Wiimote first d=
Also, at the read link, the second big scan is for a PS2 game which should already be out, 6/28/2006, so no need for that ad.
