Go Nintendo has a list of purported Wii titles available for preorder from Game Crazy, and the fight over accuracy is in full swing. One commenter already blasted it as a fake, and another claims to be the source and says that many of the titles are placeholders only -- and the prices seem to be as well (I need my Wii Sports for less than $50!). But fake or not, the list is still enough to ratchet up some Wii excitement -- particularly regarding Sadness. From the comments at Go Nintendo, it seems the veil of utter secrecy surrounding the game's publisher remains firmly in place ... but we recommend studying the list itself. As a lineup, it doesn't seem too far off, so the cries that it's as fake as an Elmyr painting may be misdirection. But then again, maybe the fake cries of fakery -- uh. Right. So, there's a list. And it may or may not be fake. Is it wrong to admit that I would probably play Duck Hunt until my hands cried out in protest? Ah, a return to the pure simplicity of blasting away waterfowl while an annoying dog laughs at your aim. Good times.

Disaster Day of Crisis and Sadness make me question the list. You mean Disaster went from a barely mentioned nongameplay video at E3 to launch title? Sounds suspicious. Likewise, the last we saw Sadness, it was live action. They JUST got dev kits and they'll be able to crank the game out by november? Eh... I'm calling fake too though the list does look nice :).

I assume this is just a listing of games that have been announced. They have odd release dates and are all listed for $49.99, which we know won't be likley. Most of those will be launch WINDOW titles, aka within 14 weeks of release. I imagine the Wii will have a strong launch day, though, with about 12 or 15 solid titles available.
For those questioning Duck Hunt:
Miyamoto: ” I’m also working on the product that was referred to as ‘Remote Pointer Demo’ at E3.”" http://wii.ign.com/articles/720/720121p1.html
I’m sure Wii Sports will either be packaged with the console or sold as a budget title at $19.99 or $29.99.
Sadness won’t be out for a while, unless they’ve really hidden all their in-game stuff. I’d like to see how Disaster: DoC is coming, that may be worth a purchase coming from Nintendo. I don't think it will be a launch title, though Nintendo DOES have it listed on the official site.
Of those games listed, I'll be buying at least 7 (Call of Duty 3, Disaster: Day of Crisis, Metroid Prime 3, Red Steel, Sadness, LoZ:TP, and Wii Sports). Honestly, I couldn't ask for anything more. And I always have SMG, SSBB and MarioKartWii waiting, plus a true next-gen Zelda. Man, this is going to be a great console.

Forgot to mention, I'm guessing this is a real list. It just doesn't have accurate release dates and prices because that info isn't available. But the listing helps because its a good collection of all the known Wii games... which is plenty to get excited about.
I'd like to see a next-gen version of Duck Hunt go for $9.99 on the virtual console; it would be a great way for Nintendo to kick off the service.

vidGuy, the only thing I've confirmed is that, like you, I'll be broke as hell the day AFTER launch day. Really, I think my Visa card is going to jump up and slap me in the face. But I think I can take it in a 1v1 brawl.

hahaha, I know. I'm 20 and a broke college student. But I still get Christmas gifts from grandparents, so I'm asking for gift cards to Best Buy or something so I can get all of this without selling my kidneys! I'll get what I can at launch then wait it out till I can get the rest.
If Nintendo pulls it off, they could have arguably the best launch ever.

My brother and I have been saving our web site revenue and I'm setting aside some cash from my summer research for the system. I'm feeling the same weight as you two on the wallet.
Elebits, Disaster, Dragon Quest, Fire Emblem, Metroid Prime, Red Steel, Zelda, Trauma Center, and Wii sports. Sigh... I'm already looking to buy more games than I have in the past two years.
