Before we break out the goods, let's just clarify: these are launch window titles. Meaning they'll come out within the first few months of the Wii's release. They may or may not be taking up shelf space on launch day. That said, Electronic Arts is supporting the Wii launch window with six titles, including a few offerings from wildly popular franchises like Madden and Tiger Woods PGA Tour. These titles were already announced for the Wii, but EA confirmed all six for the launch window at in Leipzig. The full list:
- Godfather
- Harry Potter
- Madden NFL 2007
- Need For Speed: Carbon
- SSX 5
- Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2007

Thats all? Well, atleast they are releasing something. I will rent SSX 5. But everything else is just things I dont want.
Nintendo themselves on the otherhand have a good selection of games. Like Zelda and Metroid.
Hopefully capcom will release a Resident Evil game that uses the Wii-mote for it soon
Also, Is Harry Potter a game based on the Fifth movie. If it is, I sure didnt know they were making the next one so soon.
BORAT.

"That's all?"?!
When's the last time (except just now) anyone said "That's all?" at six LAUNCH titles for a console from one third party developer?!?
Sure, I won't play any of these games, bet hell, EA is going a good job en Nintendo has more third party developers leaping on the Wii-train like this. This is hardly a "That's all?"-moment.

Wow even more games that aren't even worth the time you glimpse over them on the gaming rack. I want my 0.25 seconds back.

Yes, but thats the reason the PS2 is the winner in this generation; not because of its quality of games, but because of sheer quantity. Any third-party games, no matter how good or horrible are beneficial to Nintendo.

That Harry Potter game might be promising, using the wii-mote as a wand. Harry Potter nerd will surely get a Wii for that reason, heck they buy Jelly Beans that taste like crap... really.

for one thing, YAY SSX... I f'ing love those games and it's WAY more compatible with the downhill kind of Wii controller usage than Tony Hawk's Downhill Jam...
However, it looks like a LOT of games are being readied for Launch Window? I dunno about you guys but I don't WANT all these games to be Launch Window... Wii already has a great launch lineup from games that we've been following development in for a year now... All of a sudden all these other games are coming out and they're all launch window too? Have they been working on them the whole time? If not, THIS WORRIES ME. It seems like there are a lot of these games that will simply be gamecube games ported to the Wii, with little or no change except for controls... and I would hope they spend more time on the controls... it makes me feel a bit uneasy is all... a lot of these other Wii games have come a long way, what we DON'T need are a bunch of GC ports again

CUBEBOY101, I wouldn't go so far as to say that the Wii is the future of FPSs, but I will admit that it is the future of FPSs for consoles.
Mouse and keyboard controls are, as of Wii's launch, still superior.
