The official Japanese site for the upcoming Konami title Elebits recently launched. Along with the new site, there is a brand-new trailer which is likely to get several of you (although it should be all of you) excited for the upcoming game. In the trailer, some more of the interactive environments are shown, as well as three players all going at it at once, tearing apart things in a search for those little Elebits. The idea behind the game is really cool, but imagine if you came home and found some lunatic in your house, ripping apart your silverware drawer or pulling out your prize-winning carrots from the ground, all in some crazed search for these Elebits. Personally, we wouldn't stand for it. Then again, Wii Fanboy bloggers don't so much live in a house as a dark, wet hole in the ground.

Well, the game doesn't seem particularly captivating for extended periods of time. I could see having some fun for a half hour or so and maybe some more in multiplayer, but the idea of the game seems to repetitive to hold interest long enough to warrant a purchase.

This game looks really fun, looks to be in the same vein as maybe Katamari Damacy. One question though: Do you walk around the enviroments with the nunchuk analog like an FPS or is the game on a track like Pokemon Snap?

The Elebits look like portly Pikman, and the new dancing marketing campaign looks like Raving Rabbids. I hope the gameplay is more original than the marketing and character design.

I hope for Nintendo sake... the Sept. Press Conference reveals all and will finally showcase some real good mature titles for the Wii fan boys like me. All we have been seeing is Gamecube-ish kid titles. Yes I know about Red Steel (I am not impress with it so far) but we need more. So many questions they still have to answer before launch.

I'd rather be in a wet hole than play this game any day. Or any game for that matter...
