Everyone knows that the incredible console, innovative controller, mind-numbing list of launch games and extra features pale in comparison to the all-important box design of a new console. So, without further ado, we present to you: The Box of the Wii!One thing Nintendo failed to mention (or, at least, we didn't catch) were the colors available at launch. White is the obvious default, but hopefully, we can score at least black for the option. Do you guys like the design? Or can you not stop to worry about this trivial little detail, after all the insanity?

I just wanted to say you guys did an amazing job. I woke up throughout the night to catch the news and I couldnt be more excited for Wii. Nintendo really outdid itself and this is going to be an amazing console that I never turn off!!!

I'd buy it if it only came in poo color. What's it matter. I am proud to say I had a purple gamecube. So what, still played the games. But since I have a white 360, white DS, and soon a new Mac, so i'll just stay with the white thing.

Since i couldn't choose a white iPod nano (the 8 Gb only comes in black) maybe I'd like to have a Wii in black too, which was one of the prototype colors...
