Im kinda not excited anymore. This whole thing didn't turn out to be as sweet as I expected. Theres still some hope for NYC though.

I went to bed just before everything was transcribed, but we sorta knew the gist of things. I was thinking that this can't be it, what a let down. The trailers look fantastic. I still think it's going to be the most intense and fun machine on earth when it hits, but I can't get excited now.
A few days ago I decided to buy a 24" iMac which would mean I couldn't get a Wii, back then I was in mourning but now I'm happy. This machine is just launching too late and too much than I, than we were lead to believe.

God damn, how anyone could watch that and then complain is beyond me. The trailer looks awesome! And as far as the price goes, think of it this way:

If Nintendo announced a $199 Wii, with no stand (which we could guess would be $15 if sold seperately), $20 nunchuck attachment, and no Wii Sports (which we could guess would be a $30 game), it would pretty much be the same price, if not more money after buying all thats included in it.


I understand its the internet and everyone has to complain about everything they can, but seriously guys, its basically a bundle EBGames would sell for a system at launch, only its packaged by Nintendo. The price is more than fair. If you told the 10 year old me (I'm 22 now) that for the same price as my SNES I would be able to get everything a Wii has, I would poop my fucking pants. And on top of that, think of how much a postage stamp costs then vs. now, a can of soda, pay phone call? Still sound like too much?

Watched that trailer twice now and when the actual machine pop's up at the end I get goosebumps. That trailer is so damn good, I really can't wait any longer! ARGHHH!!!!! And I still don't know when I'll be buying one here in the UK.

Looking forward to the US conference later. The Reginator will probably get me even more excited. Anybody got some valium?

Oh, it's hard to be a 360 Fanboy this week. And yes, $250 is more than fair. It's a great price. And I want one. Then again, I might just be too busy playing Gears of War...

Still want one though.

That trailer was great, and i still can't wait for it to be launched. I hope that Nintendo doesn't shun us in Europe too and release it in December!

I don't get why a lot of Americans are dissapointed about what was revealed about the wii....you're getting it weeks before even Japan does! so what if you only get one remote in the box. Both the XBox360 and PS2 have multiple controller ports and how manay controllers do they give you in the box...that's right just one.

And american's please quit complaining about the price, you get everything cheap over there...CD's, DVDs, games, food, compared to the rest of the world. The prices of VC games are no exception....they are cheap at the prices stated, but obviously when compared to the free, illegal emulators they are not.

The Wii's launch is still gonna be great, and if you don't like it then don't don't buy it....just about everyone else will.

That video was pretty lame. I especially loved the Japanesse Couple and then the Caucasian couple. Go segregation!

Either way, my suspicions are now confirmed, the Wii is barely better than the Gamecube in horsepower.

I watched it and it made me cry. Some of those games look IMPRESSIVE. Some look kind of bleh, but I certaintly want.

Btw, EB Games in Canada still won't be doing pre-orders for a while. I guess after the 360 fiasco last year, they are looking into redoing their system D:

That was actually Resident Evil for the Wii. If you look closely enough you can see thats it looks like leon wearing the tactical vest from Resident Evil 4. And also it can be zelda because the character doesn't seem to have a sword and a shield. Later on in the trailer there looks like a room from RE but it turns out to be TP.

Neways all I can think about is that short clip of some sort of Bleach game.

The first footage that looks like RE is actually a different "wanna-be" survival horror game. Later in the vid you do in fact see the mansion from the original RE, as it appears in the new RE for Wii, just before the Zelda TP footage begins.
