We don't have much to say here, folks. This is some beautiful work, and some of the finest pieces of box art we've ever seen (I'm partial to Unlimited Saga, myself). What do you think? Is the Wii identifier at the top too much?
You can't always judge a book by its cover, but we're sure hoping we can with this one.

We have a winner!!! Nice to see Nintendo used that image for the box art. When it got released everyone fell in love with it. Still one of the sweetest background I've had on my computer.

I like the Wii logo at the top. but hasnt any company just thought of using a light overlay instead of a full colour? I personally think it would look alot better with the Wii bar just faded ontop not covering the whole thing. Doing that could also make for some interesting designs too. I like the box art and i love the Wii bar at the top but personally the case looks too...artsy for that Wii bar.

This game alone is gonna sell the Wii, so I'm glad they're going all out for it. Any TRUE Zelda game has a gold cartridge/box.

Nice! That's lovely!
I think the Wii at top is just fine. It's enough so that people know it's the Wii version but it's not trying to take over. Works for me!

That looks so awesome. I'm hoping Wii game cases are in white plastic, to set them apart from 360 green and PS3 blue (assuming they run with the Blu-Ray thing).

its ok..
alittle over the top, and other than link and the wolf, it doesn't really give you a feel for the game itself. Good design lets you feel the game and its atmosphere. This just feels like a decorative wall tapestry. Twilight Princess: stars, a beautiful sky, a feeling of calm... Maybe that's just me.
And did Link really need the earring in his right ear?
I mean Tingle is bad enough...

Simply amazing. I LOVE the Wii bar, it looks perfect. I agree with Dracula, these should be in white-milky, see-through cases.

Uhhhh, I think this might have come from an IGN Wii board thread about taking that white Wii template and making box art.

First of all, I'll say that it's gorgeous. The gold will really catch people's eyes.
I'll also be the first to point out that I'm glad it doesn't say "Nintendo" at the top. This will encourage people to just call it "Wii" instead of "Nintendo Wii".

Very very very very nice. I also love the Wii logo, and as you said, Dan, I like that it just says "Wii". People have been saying "Nintendo Wii" for FAR too long now...

What Zelda box gave you a feel for the game itself? The original had a picture of a shield. LttP was a gold box with "The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past" with a sword and shield on a gold cover. Wind Waker just featured the title and the boat, all gold cover.
This falls right in line with all the other Zelda box art.

@18 - I'm right there with ya. I picked up Unlimited Saga from a bargain bin thinking it looked interesting. The $10 I paid for it was way too much. In fact, you'd be hard pressed to PAY me to take it now I've played it. Very nice lookin box though.
