Whether or not you're a fan of the anime Bleach, it's hard to argue with a good round of ass kickery. One of the first things we thought of when the WiiVolution was first introduced, way back in the long ago time of 2005, was a fighting game. What better use for the controller than beating down your best good friends?Bleach looks to do just that. This new trailer is equal parts gameplay footage and hot Wiimote-swinging action. Check it out after the jump.

Whoa, creepy. I was watching Bleach when I noticed this post...
I can't say the kids looked very cool playing, but it certainly looks like fun. With this, Red Steel, and a couple other slashing games, maybe Nintendo should think about a sword attachment?

Can't say I'n a Bleach fan, but I have to say the framerate is butter-smooth as is the graphics over all. The gameplay looks a bit tiring, as do all fighting games on Wii seem to be, but loads of fun. Certainly a much more satisfying way of releiving stress than button mashing.

I got a Naruto game a while back and it was a little lackluster. But bleach is awesome, and this game looks to be very well put together and fun, definetly looking to importing this one as soon as thats possible.

From the article: "The swastika is a sacred symbol in Hinduism, Buddhism and Jainism."

Chris is correct. In Japanese it is called Manji. The description is also in the wiki article.

I almost shed a tear of joy upon finally seeing footage of this. I've a Bleach addict and cannot wait until this is released, I'll be importing this day 1.
(Very curious as to how they give Kenpachi a bankai, maybe him taking off the 'spirit creature' *didn't want to give a spoiler for anyone watching it now*)

This really reminds me of the Power Stone series on the DC. Is it made by the same people by any chance?
