The latest, and quite possibly greatest, Wii demonstration video has gone live online. In demonstrating the Opera browser on the Wii, we get a good look at doing such things as searching using Google and page formatting. Zooming in and playing videos are just a few of the things done in this short video. Short, yes, but definitely sweet. With the browser coming at a cost of zero for early adopters, some may have thought it was nothing more than a gimmick or novelty, but it really looks like the browser could be one of the strongest Channels on the system. We know what we'll be doing with the browser when we get it at launch.

lol. nodnetni, do you really think voice recognition will be less annoying than an onscreen keyboard....what with different accents and everything! don't forget the wii has usb ports that might take in a keyboard. and if they do i hope someone makes an attachment so i can use my dreamcast keyboard that hasn't been used for 6 years!
i'm looking forward to using the internet on my tv. i just kinda hoped the last wii channel demonstration was gonna be for the virtual console channel!

There are USB slots, so I'm sure a USB keyboard will be supported at the least.

They finally put up a video! I've been wanting to see the Wii's internet feature for a while.
It seems pretty cool...but the one feature I wanted to see the most wasn't even shown -__- and that is how to type...

Here's to VC games! I'm just so estatic that I'll finally be able to play the games that defined gaming as we know it (since I wasn't a gamer until the third year of the Cube)!

Totally going on YouTube with the Wii. Watching flash movies in fullscreen. On the TV. I don't need cable anymore.
