Check around all the usual haunts for Wiiosks this weekend. A few are already up across the country, like this one reader Scott Johnson caught as it was being put together. Thank all that is holy for cell phones and fast action!
Several readers have tipped us that they've heard this is the big weekend for the debut of the kiosks, but this is the only photo we've seen. If you catch a kiosk in the wild this weekend, break out that camera phone and send us a picture!
So, uh ... the question has to be asked. When seeing the setting-up process in action, anyone have the urge to snatch one and run like mad?

GOOD WORK NINTENDOLONEWOLF. It is good to see a new video finally. I know eventually we'll get one that's not an off-screeen clip, but daaaamn. It looks like SSBB is being graced with destructible environments and a level based on the greatest SNES game ever: Yoshi's Island. I have never in my life been more excited to get a console. I just hope it doesnt take too long for Donkey Kong Country 2 + 3 to hit the VC along with Unirally (aka Uniracers) and Yoshi's Island (with the good snes controls, not they gey GBA controls). Along with Zelda, Mario, Metroid and SSBB getting the best of thier series all at the same time, i would be surprised to see the machine fail. The only setback that would really hurt nintendo is any problems with thier online service...

I was in a brand new Best Buy earlier this week and on the floor in the gaming area was a 3" x 5" note card with Wii on it taped to the tile. Either someone pee'd there and they didn't want anyone to step in it or that's where the kiosk was going.

I have 3 friends that work for Gamestop, I spoke to one 2day. They arent suppose to have them out yet but as in his case the kiosk wouldnt fit threw the door so he had to display it, and they will take a license for you to get the control.
