It's the first time we get to ask you guys now that the Wii has released, so, what are you playing?
For many Americans, today feels a lot like Friday and, as far as our employers and government are concerned, it might as well be. With tomorrow being the day we celebrate Thanksgiving by stuffing our faces (more than usual) with turkey, cranberry sauce, stuffing, and various delicious types of pie, we felt we'd ask what you're playing a little early. For all of our non-American readers whose country's past does not include Pilgrims and Native Americans coming together in peace, well ... be sure to rub your next exclusive holiday in our faces.
So what will it be? A little multiplayer Wii Sports with the family? Is your family interested in seeing what this Wii is all about, or is your obsession with gaming like some kind of contagious virus to them, forcing you to play Red Steel alone in the basement?

Since I've only had a handful of hours to spend on The Legend of Zelda, I'll be going on a Twilight Princess binge for the next few days with some multiplayer Wii Sports thrown in for good measure. I'll probably be playing a bit of Excite Truck and Red Steel also, but whatever I end up playing, it'll almost definitely be on Wii.

Elite Beat Agents, unless I can score a Wii. In that case, Trauma Center and Metal Slug Anthology.

Working on mastering Dragon Ball Z Budokai: Tenkaichi. I hated red steel so exchanged it for Dragon Ball Z. And lo and behold it rocks really really really hard.
Doing a bit of zelda and wii sports in the off hours. But i've been addicted to Dragon Ball mostly.

Twilight Princess & Wii Sports, of course.
Hopefully I can find a rental of Trauma Center, or something. I'd rather not buy it because I have the DS version, and as I've been told, the story is the same with the kyriaki and all. >:[

Zelda, Wii Sports, and Monkeyball! On a pretty regular rotation so far, all of which are excellent games. :)

A healthy mix of Zelda, Wii Sports, and Excite Truck. I have Red Steel too, but I'm getting rid of it for Monkey Ball - great ideas, sloppy execution. If there's a Red Steel 2, count me in.

Zelda, Excite Truck, maybe some Rayman, throw in a game of tennis and a boxing match and we'll also execute some Nazis before eating some delicious turkey. Did anybody else get Call of Duty 3? Holy shit! I never want to play an FPS with another controller. Viva la Wii!

I've started into Zelda, but Rayman is getting more of my time. The developers must have had a blast putting this game together. I love the shooter games, and I find I'm playing them more for style than points. Grabbing rabbids and throwing them at things is a hoot. The dance challenges are pretty entertaining too. Seriously, you have to try it.

The number one reason I shivered in line for 9 hours (better than a week!) was to get the Wii for my family's Thanksgiving. We grew up on Nintendo, and now that even my previously non-gaming mom spends most of her time on WOW, we all can appreciate gaming at its newest and bestest! (Yes that's a word). My dad is excited to try this out, having bought our first NES 20 years ago. Wii Sports and Marvel Alliance, here we come! (I am addicted to golf and bowling, otherwise boring sports made fun!)

Definately bringing the Wii home to show to the family. No doubt Wii Sports will hook them all, probably make my dad go out and buy one (he mainly plays GTA and Bond games). Maybe throw some Monkey Ball minigames at them too, haven't found my faves yet.
Of course when they all go to bed it is ZELDA TIME.

I am having some friends over. Some non-gamers and some OG NES gamers. we are going to play Sports and ExciteTruck. I also hope to get some Zelda sessions in. I am only 4 hours in, meaning i have 64 hours on average before i finish it ;). I am thinking about picking up Call Of Duty 3 or Monkey or Rabbits on Friday.

I've been playing Ocarina of Time 2… I mean Twilight Princess. Don't flame me for saying this, I've been a Zelda fanboy since Link to the Past, but everything about Twilight Princess screams Ocarina of Time. I mean, look at the story (don't read this if you haven't played it much yet). You start out as some kid in the forest, there's trouble, go and fix it. Then, you go to the mountain, there's trouble in the mines, you fix it. Next, you go to the water area, everything's frozen, you fix it. That's as far as I've gotten, but the similarities are so striking that it's hard to ignore. Sure, they worked in a Link to the Past style dark and light world/area, but with the story, gameplay, and graphics being pretty much identical, it's hard to say the TP lived up to the hype.

I currently have my Wii hooked up to the nice HD set in the living room, but knowing my family I'll have to move it out if I plan on playing tomorrow. My parents hate me playing video games in the living room on holidays, even if it's my birthday! It's so horrible. I am hoping, however, to possibly snag some family into playing Wii Sports. If I can do that then I can keep my gaming rig set up in here :D.
I just moved back in with my folks temporarily while moving from down south(California south, not okie south), and so while I have to endure living here, I do get my hands on an HD set! Plus, I haven't gotten a new job yet, so I'm basically doing nothing right now, which means, yes, I've already gotten in over 24 hours worth of Zelda. I haven't played today, but I've put it about a good 10 hours each day into the wii. Yesterday I even had to change my wii-mote batteries.
All in all, life is good...but Zelda is better.

Zelda mainly. I never really had a chance to get into the older Zelda games with my brothers being so stingy, although I did watch them beat all the others probably 3 times through each. They're away at college and living on their own now, so the Wii is all mine.
I've had quite a few friends stop by to play my other games; DBZ Budokai Tenkaichi 2, RedSteel, and Excite Truck (I splurged on myself at the last second after waiting in line while buying games), not to mention Wii Sports. Of course, with all of them coming over and creating their own Mii's, and only playing multiplayer games, I'm somewhat forced into staying up 4 or 5 hours later than usual to play Zelda.
I love the console, but today I'm feeling rather sick and just don't feel like moving aruond to play, so I might give (dare I say it?) Lumines II on PSP or Pokémon Ranger on DS some love as I lay here in bed.
Bowling, Tennis, and Boxing are my favorite Wii Sports, although I suck at Tennis and Boxing tires me out. What are everyone else's favorite sports?

Zelda: TP (20 hrs in as of now, FANTASTIC), Wii Sports (me and 4 friends couldn't put it down for 5 hours first night we got Wii), and Red Steel (hey, I liked it) I own... Trauma Center, Call of Duty 3, Super Monkey Ball, Madden 2007 are rented... eventually I'll try out DBZ and Need for Speed Carbon... Oh I downloaded Bomberman '93 from Turbo Graphix 16 Virtual Console. That game rocks, 1-5 players with wiimotes and/or gamecube controllers

I had an ebay win overnighted to my in-laws family who live in the sticks of Oregon. I had Zelda and Wii Sports. We (my 5 year old, 3 year old and I) played Wii Sports the first night, mostly tennis. My 5 year old has perfected a return method that is deadly by just holding the Wiimote in front of her face and wiggling it and when she's in the front row in tennis the returns are wicked sideways single bounce in bounds sideways smash.
She also somehow gets the smoking ball serve almost every time.
Unfortunately I won the award for 'first person to smack someone upside the head' by taking a hard swing at a ball only to smash my son in the back of the head and send him face down onto the floor. I thought I actually broke my ring finger as I hit him in the head with that finger between me and the Wiimote
Upon opening one of the extra controllers I snagged at a wal-mart the Wiimote strap was broken. As they didn't have any (got the last 3) to swap with I'm going to email Nintendo and see what they say.
Other than the one bash no wiimotes were lost controll of and sent flying.
I played Zelda for about an hour total and found my way past the first dungeno and collecting the light fragments in the second one. I do like the game so far and extremely happy with Wii sports.
Hand carrying it through the airports now, didn't want to check it in my bags as I thought I'd never see it again if I did.
