The above message comes direct from Nintendo, following the many reported injuries and catastrophes that have been the result of long gameplay sessions. It's OK, we understand how it goes; playing Wii Sports can be vigorous and we've been guilty, on many an occasion, of perhaps getting a little too into it. And where we'd normally snicker at emails such as these, this one, we feel, is warranted.

You're supposed to stay at least six (6) feet from your TV anyway, to keep from burning your retinas out. And if you're swinging hard enough to accidentally let go, get one of the grip covers they have available.

"I've got an idea -- let's sell the rubber grips seperately!"
So much for a natural interface.

Those grip covers are nice in theory, but I find them impractical. They cover the entire remote, making it a pain to replace batteries or to sync it up if you bring you're remote to a friend's house. Also, some of the buttons, especially the home button, are hard to press. But, if you're that worried about the remote slipping out of your hand, the covers do provide a nice grip.
