More dozens than a baker could ever count of images for SSX Blur have hit the intertron and we here at Wii Fanboy really think they could look better. Granted, we have not yet seen the game in motion, so final judgements are nowhere near close to being made on our part (we roll honest here, folks). What we thinks doesn't matter though, it's all about you guys!
So, do the new screenshots get you excited or instill a sense of apathy on par with our own? We've included several more of them past the jump for your viewing pleasure.

i thought it looked pretty smooth on the trailer. i mean, seriously, have any of the ssx games looked amazing? no but they are damn fun. i think this will be sweet as long as they nail the controls and don't dumb down the trick system.

I'll second the meh. Some of the shots show potential. Look at

- the mountains and the trees in the background look almost photo-realistic, but the tree to the right looks horrible. The rest of the shots look like a game that's between a N64 and GC game. Pitiful.
Wii isn't much more powerful than a GC, and the million(s) that have bought it are ok with that. But that means we should be getting games that look at least as good as a GC game. LoZ:TP should be the minimum of visuals on the Wii, considering it's a GC game. I'd like my Wii games to look more like Wii Sports (some amazing backgrounds in that game) and SMG.

I've been disappointed in Blur ever since I saw the trailer. I truly hope that they released it only as a means of showing off the new "style" of the next game, but as someone who put a LOT of time into SSX3 I caught something... namely the fact that the trailer takes place on the top of Peak 1 in SSX3.
No, really. :( If Blur becomes some wii-ified version of an older game, I'm going to be one angry consumer. SSX:On Tour already made me want to kill myself, if the next SSX game to hit is another letdown I may be forced to call it quits with the series.

another downhill jam? in my opinion downhill jam is like the past 4 ssx. race downhill, do tricks, knock people off their board... sounds like ssx.

That's because the mountains are a bitmap backdrop. There's a lot less geometry in there than it looks.
I wonder if that means there won't be much in the way of scenic variety.

Ahh, that makes sense than. It'll be interesting to see how long it takes for developers to start pushing the hardware. The Wii concept is great and ensures strong sales, but just because the FOCUS isn't graphics doesn't mean that games shouldn't be as good graphically as they possibly can.
