For the next two weeks or so, we're all probably sitting around and waiting for the release of WarioWare Smooth Moves. Well, we are, but you might not be. So, in the meantime, what will you be playing this weekend to take your mind off of the wait? Or, are you to be out on the town, tearing it up in the usual 'I'm 21 or over and am therefore going to overdo it this weekend' fashion, celebrating the new year? For us, we don't plan on doing much gaming since we have to find ourselves a new employee to join us in the Wii Fanboy dungeon and enjoy the daily tire iron beatings the Joystiq staff subjects us to. Oh, how we love the feeling of cold steel hitting us over and over again ...
Past posts: What were you playing?

Hoping there are some decent titles in the upcoming Virtual Console releases to tide me over till WarioWare Smooth Moves is released.

On January 1, the Virtual Console titles will be Baseball and Urban Champion, and maybe a few others we don't know about.
But you still can buy Super Mario Bros., Castlevania, Street Fighter and Toe Jam and Earl from last week.
So you'll have plenty to tide you over till Warioware is released. When is the release date for Warioware?

I'm only 30 hours into Zelda since Wii Sports and Madden have been taking up my time. I also grabbed Trauma Center and it's surprisingly good! I got some Wii Points but haven't decided how to spend them yet. What I'm really waiting for is an official announcement regarding the release dates of SMG, MP3, and SSBB. I'll try WarioWare, but those three are the holy grails for me the next few years.

I'm on vacation WITH my Wii, and therefore will be playing some Wii Sports (with family), Metal Slug, and I downloaded Toejam & Earl off a recommendation and am finding it oddly addicting. I had never played it before, but I needs to find me those rocket ship pieces.
Toejam is a Doofus.

I was waiting outside BestBuy this morning in Canada from 5 am. They had 15, I was #20, therefore, I will be finishing off TP for the Cube, and increasing my rank in Metroid.

I'm still getting a lot of use out of wiisports and rayman. I'll probably be playing a lot of Portrait of Ruin for the DS, though.

Everyone should rent Excite Truck. It is a very nice surprise. The game is fast and just downright fun.
I'm at the Twilight Palace in Zelda, but I need to dedicate 6 hours in order to play it. I also need to find all the bugs.
But now I'm playing Castlevania POR on DS. I love it.

Got mine for Christmas, too, so I'll continue the addictive games in Wii Sports, then I'll finally get to crack open Madden 07, and Rayman Raving Rabbids.
