We're happy to report, by way of Famitsu, that the Nintendo Wii has sold an excellent one million consoles in Japan. Since launching on December 2nd in Japan, the console has sold exactly 1,135,671 units.

i have worked for Argos for quite some time and all the preorders and reserved items mean nothing to us employees we just take the little red tape off and sell to first guy there, so if u have preorderd or reserved an item i would get there for when the store opens such as Argos, Argos has a huge locker full of Wii games but no consoles as of yet in this store although i hear some have had some in.
