I'm a proud owner of an xbox360 and a wii.

I have my gaming PC, my 360, and my wii all hooked up to a 24" Dell 2407wfp widescreen LCD

Almost everyone who already bought a 360 should own a Wii. I only got my Wii 4 days ago and cant remember when I have had more fun gaming. I have a 360 and LOVE it, but the Wii experience is just plain F-U-N. They are a perfect balance of hardcore and casual. Have it ALL with the Wii60!!!!!

As the owner of a 360 and a Wii, I have little use for the PS3.

The funny thing is I'm a HUGE Sony fan and usually wind up buying Sony stuff (PS2, PSP, Clie, VAIO Laptop, HDTVs) but for some reason I really HATE the PS3. I'm not sure why. At any rate, there's no way I'd get a PS3 even though I still consider Sony to be my first choice for other home electronics.

Then again, I despise Microsoft, yet I love my 360, so maybe my brand preferences don't translate into the gaming world for me. Wierd...

I own a 360 and a Wii.

I first thought I was going to be a PS3 and Wii owner, until they released the price. Then Sony's arrogance about their console really got to me.

And that was about the time Dead Rising came out. And that made me convert. I despised the first Xbox... but the 360 has had plenty of play time on it. Granted it only has a few good games (I have a good gaming PC for any game that is PC/360).

But yes, the Wii60 combination is great. No use for the PS3 in my household. Not even for Metal Gear Solid 4.

wii60 owner here. Two completely gamin experiences that work so well together. Both hooked up to a 42" Dell HD Plasma.

Meh, I reallt like Sony. I think the reason these people set up the Wii60 thing was becasue they had too much and because, in actual fact, they really want a PS3 - I mean why else would they be so upset about how pricey it is?

Thats just my two cents, I'll be getting a PS3 on March 23rd and I'll be enjoying my Wii until then.

I have a Wii and a 360, they each have their own space on my peripherals table next to the stand that my Sony SXRD 50" 1080p LCD Rear Projection TV's on. Yet I still don't have a PS3......I'm gonna wait until they turn down the suck on the games. Then I shall join my television with its 1080p brother.
When I have my friends over the more hardcore gamers go for the 360 and play GOW and Halo 1 and 2. The more general masses go for the Wii party game goodness. They usually play Wii Sports or Rayman. They've expressed interest in Zelda TP and Excite Truck is also well enjoyed. They tried Red Steel for a while.....but now its been assigned to the realm of shame. It sucks! For a while I misplaced it and thought someone stole it and I was perfectly fine with that!
As much as I love the graphical prowess of the 360 combined with its spectacular gameplay, the Wii is pretty fun too. Usually I can keep my eyes from bleeding all over my friends while its played......I really need component cables, haha. I did that mod, but it still looks like crap through paperclips, haha.

PSWii60 owner here. Fanboy of games, not corporations. No shortage of good titles ever with exclusives for all three. All looking good on a 1080p set and all have something special to offer.

Like the majority of people here and other video game related sites, I don't own actual stock in any console manufacturer and therefore am not a shareholder. Shareholders could be Microsoft fanboys, Sony fanboys and/or Nintendo fanboys and get a way with it, I guess barely. However, everyone else that goes on and on about how much greater one corporation's product is over another's product is weird to me personally. They way some talk, they sound like they would go down on the CEO of the company if they asked them too.

I just have a Wii. I'll get a 360 when:

A. They don't expect me to pay $400 for a game system.
and
B. There's more good games than just Gears of War.

(And no, I'm not buying a system just for Live Arcade stuff either - I can already get those types of games on my PC, thank you.)

i will admit i am a Nintendo supporter. i grew up with the NES, SNES, and Game Boy. and even though Microsoft does some shady things from time to time, they at least recognize that customers are important.

Sony, though...they have gotten to the point where they believe it is alright to take a massive dump on its own customers.

-exploding batteries
-installing rootkits on your PC off of Sony music CDs
-overpriced, low-quality electronics (and i don't mean the PS3!)
-bad warranty support for aforementioned electronics
-killing Lik-Sang
-SIX-HUNDRED US DOLLARS
-and the sheer arrogance of their corporate execs

i don't buy ANYTHING Sony anymore, let alone the PS3. Sony used to be decently customer oriented. somewhere along the line they shifted to dumping on customers' heads and gloating about it. you can't let a company believe that sort of behavior is ok.

I own a Wii and a PS2. I will NOT be buying a PS3, even though I enjoy some of the PS2 games. I am, however, thinking about getting a 360 when/if their prices drop a bit.

I was merely toying with the idea, but then when the news about Guitar Hero being ported to the 360 broke, I came down on the "probable" side of that purchase.

I own a Wii and an xbox 360.

The main platform I use for gaming is the PC.

I bought the Wii on launch day, and it's the reason that I own any consoles at all. It's great, orginal, and offers something unavailable to the PC (namely the wiimote and the possibilities which spring from it).

We bought the xbox 360 after christmas, as we wanted to play games like dead rising and gears of war, or the upcoming halo 3 and Fable 2. Also, it works well as a way to stream content purchased from amazon unbox to our main television. Also, I'll eventually be able to use it to watch HD-DVDs. So the duo of xbox 360+wii works really well, and so far I don't have much of a reason to opt for a ps3.

I'm most definitely rocking the Wii60 combo. The Wii is so different that it is worth owning... but it doesn't look like it will provide everything I'm looking for. I'm more excited about the Wii's lineup this year, but the 360 has some great titles coming and looks to have a great future.

Honestly, I see no reason to buy a PS3 this generation. There will be very few games exclusive to the PS3. And most likley those will be time exclusives (I have a feeling MGS4 will be coming out for the 360 only months after the PS3 release). The first console I bought last gen was the PS2, but the PS3 doesn't have anywhere near the value (play potential per dollar) as the PS2.

Wii60 is all I need for the next five to six years.

I'm also a fellow Wii60 owner, but I must admit, I've been tempted plenty of times to purchase a PS3. The reason being is I have library syndrome, and I just have to have it all.

I bought the Wii for the unique gaming experience. I bought the 360 for GOW, but have sinced been turned onto the XBLA and the ability to d/l HD movies. The PS3 would be for the, even limited, higher def gaming abilities of the 360, plus the ability to watch BD movies.

I just bought a Wii about 8 days ago, and I have had a 360 for almost 9 months. The 360 is awesome, with Live and Live Arcade and Marketplace, not to mention the great peripherals and so forth. Oh, and it has games! Those look and play great. I was, however, beginning to tire of the competitiveness of people on Xbox Live. Everybody playing to win, no one playing for fun.

That is not the case with the Wii. I bought the Wii because I wanted fun games. And it delivered. You can't not have fun playing the Wii. Whether you're making Miis (which my wife LOVES) or playing getting a few people together to play Wii Sports, it feels less like what gaming has become and more like gaming should (and used to) be.

I own all three, as I am a gamer. There will be games that I must play and own that will be exclusive to each system.

Hardcore gamers will own all three. Consolers and fanboys will not.

I went wii60 (before the term was even created, mind you) about a week before E3. I bought a 360, and bought Perfect Dark Zero and Condemned to play on it. I was hooked after my first online game in PDZ, in which I made my first XBL friend, and learned how to do all the cool chat/friend invite/game invite things that go along with the 360. It's near perfection for console online gaming (and I prefer it to PC online gaming as well).

I had planned to buy a Wii the day it was revealed at E3 '04 anyhow, and that wasn't changing, I'm an unwavering Nintendo fan. And Super Smash Bros is gamer crack.

I'm really surprised with how much I love my 360 though. I'm one of the people who Microsoft talks about when they say that not all 360 owners had an Xbox 1. Online gaming is the way to go for me. And to be honest, that's one of the things that bothers me with the Wii. I'd love it just as much as my 360, but half the online aspects of the console are just plain clunky. The other half are just plain unasked for (seriously, I don't really care about a news channel, I have a computer!). So as it stands, a former Nintendo fanboy likes his 360 more than he likes his Wii. Though, the Wii is more people friendly, with games like Wii Sports and Warioware (Warioware in particular is a blast with people).

I'd insult the PS3, but we all know everything that Sony messed up on. I'll think about buying it when games I care about happen to come out on the system (MGS4 and FF13 don't mean a THING to me, the only game I want for the PS3 is Lair).

I got a 360 about a month after launch. I got smarter with the Wii- I preordered it at my local EB Games and picked it up on launch day without hassle.

I don't own a PS3, but would not rule it out if they had some compelling games. Unfortunately for Sony, the games they have slated to come out in 2007 either don't interest me, or are also coming to the 360.

Buying a PS3 was one of the worth mistakes I've ever made. My 360 is more fun and the only good games that are on the PS3 are already on the 360. And for the Wii...AMAZING!!! I only had it for 5 days and I"m actually playing with more than the Xbox... of course my HD DVD is also VERY good I highly recomment it to anybody with an Xbox 360 or a PC.

The concept of tbe hardcore gamer is is an overrated thing. To me it just means you spend waay too many hours in your day doing it.

My wii is my primary gaming system. Mostly because I support innovation and I find regular controllers and the keyboard mouse combination shackling. I only bought my 360 for games such as Armored Core 4, Assassin's creed and the eventual MGS4 port. There are other games on that list but those are the three main ones. Plus when I bought the damn thing it came with a 100$ rebate.

I have had more fun playing the ultra buggy Call of Duty 3 for the wii which is a straight from ps2 port than playing GoW. When a proper shooter will pop up on the wii, alot of haters will start shutting the fuck up because their drug of choice will be available on that system as well. But then they'll complain about graphics...

I curretly own a Wii, however I have every intention of becoming a PSWii60 owner when it is "ecinomically feasable" for me. Despite the rabid fanboyisms, each platform does bring SOMETHING to the table that the others don't. With the Wii its obvious the new way of playing, 360 has kickass online play and dowloadable content, but what about PS3? While its not a feature that a majority of PS3 owners are gonna use, being able to install Linux offers up HUGE possibilities. When I enventually get a PS3 the first thing I'm gonna do is install Linux and use it to run Stepmania. If Sony can create a platform where homebrew is a possibility without hacking it ::coughpspcough::that is something to note.

I have 2 360's and a Wii. The two systems are a marvelous complement to each other. Xbox Live is the one to beat in my opinion, at the same time, the Wii promises to offer platformers such as Zelda and Mario the likes of which no other console will have. I hope Nintendo finally gets up and does something in the online arena. GoW is THE game around the house right now, and the 360 will hold us well through Nintendo's notorious "dry seasons".

It's because of the fact the two consoles both deliver a different experience.
The Xbox 360 delivers almost the same experience, or even better, as the PS3 does. And for less money, too!
The Wii, with that offers a very interactive control scheme which offers an experience neither of the abovely mentioned consoles offer.
The Wii and the 360 both have their own sort of games and exclusives. Where the Xbox 360 offers a lot of Shooters and Racing, the Wii offers a lot of adventure and party.

I feel that you don't need a PS3, especially because most of the titles previously exclusive for the PS3 are coming to the 360. And the Wii? Nintendo has always had their own exclusives, top quality and must have.

@ 20: primarily, people with lots of available cash will own all three, not necessarily the people most devoted to gaming.

Wii and 360 here, along with lots of older systems hanging around as well. I could have afforded the PS3 with my Christmas bonus, but on principle, I don't want to pay $600 for a system. I felt somewhat gouged paying $400 for the 360. I'm going to wait until the PS3 is under...let's say $350 and then I'll see if it'd be worth it for the games and Blu-Ray and all that jazz. If that's going to take 2 or 3 or 4 years, so be it. I have a backlog big enough to handle that.

I too have gone with the Wii60 combo. I picked up a 360 at launch, and finally found a Wii last Sunday. I have to say that it truly is the perfect combo for me. The 360 has wonderful online games that cater to the hardcore market, but seem to have missed the boat on bringing people together in the same room. That's where the Wii absolutely shines.

Having played a PS3, I'm not really impressed. I can barely tell a difference between it and the 360. Well, unless you count the horrible controller layout that you have to almost dislocate your thumbs to use the analog sticks (I have long fingers, the 360 just fits my hands better) and that every PS3 game I've played tends to be very buggy and crash a lot. Throw that in with the fact that all the exclusives are no longer exclusive and well, why should I pay that much for a sub-par gaming experience?

I have a 360 and a Wii.
However all my other living room entertainment is sony, such as my tv, my recievers and surround sound and speakers. But I dont like the ps3 simply becuase, one its huge, and its too expensive. When I think of spending that much on just the console, then having to spend more on cables controllers and games. Its not worth it to me.

In my mind, sony has made some bad choices with the ps3.

I too have a XBOX360 and a Wii all hooked up to a SONY TV! The irony is great, I do like some SONY products but never really cared for the PlayStation. The Xbox360 was an obvious choice for me because I owned the original, and liked some of the games such as KOTOR etc. However, the 360 runs circles around the original, with Xbox live and Live Arcade the possibilities endless.

When Nintendo released their system, I was intrigued with the game play, and the Virtual Console idea. I just scored my Wii last weekend and have been loving it ever since. This is my first Nintendo console since the original Gameboy days. I am slightly annoyed with the games available on Wii at the moment, but given the fact that it was released in November I can over look that at the moment. The only other game that I have for the Wii is Wario Ware Smooth Movies, a decent game, and waiting for more VC and Wii games that intrigue my tastes.

I have none I don't have any.
When I have $250 (I have $100 now) i'll get one. I have no use for PS3. I want a x360 after I have enough money after I get Wii. I need to learn how to use controls on the x360 too. I see no use for the PS3. It has better graphics but games only take 20% of the power.

Wii only here, and the reality of that is only partially due to a strong Nintendo loyalty

It is more due to the fact that, between 1 Nintendo Console and 1 Nintendo handheld, i get new releases (usually) such that, every month i have a new game to buy (sometimes more for Christmas/Birthday), and i wouldn't have the money or the time to adequately support 2 or more consoles/handhelds

I'd rather get EVERYTHING worth buying for Wii and DS than have to settle for only picking SOME of what's good from a variety of consoles, then have to miss out

I think the idea is funny, but the primary reasoning behind the Wii60 coalition is faulty: that an Xbox 360 is significantly cheaper than a PS3. The problem lies with the 360's 'everything-costs-you-extra-approach' which allows you to construct scenarios where the 360 seems cheaper, but is completely featureless and realistically unusable (ex: who has a 360 without a hard drive or without LIVE?). When you look at real world use and costs, the PS3 costs a little bit more than the 360, and for high end configurations the 360 costs significantly more than a PS3.

1) Your average Xbox 360 configuration (Premium + LIVE) costs $50 less than the equivalent PS3 ($450 vs. $500). Granted, you still are missing HD cables and a headset with that PS3, so add that to the difference if you need, in which case it becomes about a $100 difference (FYI: official Sony HDMI can be bought for $30, other brands for as little as $8).

2) As soon as a 360 owner purchases: a) a wi-fi adapter, or b) a HD-DVD drive, the Xbox 360 costs roughly the same as an equivalent PS3.

3) If you buy both accessories above, than the Xbox 360 costs much more than a PS3 ($750 vs. $650).

So, the ever-too-expensive PS3 costs you $100 extra at MOST, and possibly saves you $100 at BEST.

Because I wanted high-definition video disc playback and I MUST have a wireless connection for my set-up, the PS3 was the better value for me, so I'm rolling PSWii. I really despise Microsoft's 'nickel-and-dime you for everything so you can then have a console with 2 attachments sticking out of it like some aborted Voltron monstrosity' approach. Save for an HDMI cable, at least Sony gives you the complete package right out of the box.

I'm not a Wii60 owner yet (I'll get my 360 in a month or so) however I play alot on 360 with my friend. And I must say, Wii and 360 is by far this generations best combination.

yeah i got a wii and a 360 love them both. My 360 gives me eye candy and my wii gives me fun and good times with family.360 hooked up to 27" hd lcd tv in my room with wireless adapter but i play my 360 more i love online and get bored pretty quickly with any game that isn't LIVE and the wii only has a few good games so far.

I have one next-gen console, a Wii. May get a PS3 if the price ever drops. All you need is a Wii60 or PSWii to get the full gaming experience.

Currently hooked up to my TV (in reverse-purchase order), I have: Wii, 360, PSTwo, and Xbox.

The PSTwo is to replace my original crapped-out PS2 that I got at launch, and the original Xbox's only real function at this point is to stream media off the network with XBMC.

I imagine I'll get a PS3 at some point in the future, but the usual things that everyone complains about turned me off from getting one right now... namely the price, the lack of games that interest me (Resistance is the only game I would buy), and lack of rumble support.

Yeah, sue me. I would rather have rumble than accelerometers.

I have an Xbox, Xbox360, PS3 and a Wii.

Each has it's place in the gaming universe, all can co-exist. PS3 and Wii give a very good value for a first time buyer, I haven't owned a Nintendo system since the SNES, so picking up the wii gives me a GameCube and a Wii to boot, same for the PS3 it give you BluRay Playback, PS2 and PS3 (I haven't owned a Sony system before).

I had the PS2, I thought it sucked, therefore I bought a 360 instead of PS3, and im really happy about it, now I hear how much Sony is screwing up

For me, the wii never even had a doubt of not buying...
I've had every Nintendo consoles (since SNES, during NES I wasn't even born yet :P)
And I will keep this going, nintendo = Fun (a FACT), Xbox360 = FUN (as well, but totally on a diffrent way)

I can't say which of the 2 I like more, but I can tell that im glad having both, and I would recommend everyone to do the same ;)

I like the ideals behind Wii60, but Wii60.Com hijacked it and used it for their own ends. Their site claims to promote community, but in fact stifles it
