Atari announced today that they plan on bringing Japan's giant laser-shooting lizard to Nintendo's consoles later this year. Centered around giant monster combat, the game is to feature 3D landscapes that allow for much destruction, as well as a non-linear storyline. No word on who will be in the game (besides Godzilla himself), but we're sure some of the franchise's most popular monsters will be involved.

I think it looks like it could be kind of fun. I always liked the Godzilla franchise (except for the Broderick farce which was barely passable). So i think it could be a good time... I missed the previous console versions.
Crank the sounds and rock the block with a little monster melee. What's no to like?

If this is anything like Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee for the Gamecube, then I'm in. You may not like the Godzilla storyline, etc. but multiplayer in that game is EPIC.

Where is the love for the King of All Monsters???
Destroy All Monsters STILL gets play time in my house now (and is one of the reasons I bought a 'Cube). I am really excited about this one...hopefully it will fare better than the XBox 'sequel' did.

Lets face it, we're all getting this game for multiplayer anyway.
