As if playing the original Dance Dance Revolution wasn't difficult enough (we have no rhythm), the latest title for the Wii revealed by Konami is sure to be impossible. Called Dance Dance Revolution: Hottest Party, the game will demand players use three peripherals at once: a dance mat, Wiimote and nunchuk attachment. The game is set to release sometime this year.
Check out the video, which has been embedded past the post break.

That's *beginner* difficulty? What the hell? Oo;;
Don't see anything about the Wiimote or Nunchuck, but I'd assume they'd only come into it at higher difficulty levels, once the game's trained people to just do the basic movements.

I'd rather have Pump it Up (Same as DDR, but with diagonals, and a middle pad button).
Just feels more natural that way

Any word on whether you can use DDR:Mario Mix dance mats?
I'm guessing they'll plug into the cube ports, if you need remote+nunchuck then it'd make sense they plug in there.

I don't know, if Wiimote is involved at the core of the gameplay, it will suck, much like that mode of the one DDR for PS2 that was EyeToy compatible
Hope it sticks to the stomping...
(Samba di Amigo is better for wiimote usage)

Why does Konami keep doing this to us? First they destroy ITG, the last good dance game, and now they feel compelled to keep shoving this crap down our throughts. Maybe they should think about selling DDR to people who aren't 10-year-old girls.

Read the frigging previews people. The mario dance mix pad can be used as well as several third party dance pads that work with the gamecube.
The previews also explain what they saw of the wiimote and that it was a tech demo. A lot of wiimote,nunchuck uses will be implemented but the developers are still testing it.

The reason people put the Wii down is because of terrible uses of the technology like this.

@9: Acctually,it sounds like Hinder but they funked it up with some techno.
As much as I love DDR,I dunno if I'll bother to get this unless it comes as a package (with a mat)
