If only Nintendo could be this forthcoming on their own VC releases, eh? Then again, every Monday is a veritable holiday, gifts cunningly wrapped in inauspicious boxes.Anyway, Hudson has announced yet another two Turbo-Grafx 16 games for release in February: New Adventure Island and Chew-Man-Fu. We hear good things about the first, but the name of the second is just so endearing. These days, it almost feels like Hudson is supporting the Virtual Console more than Nintendo is ... will today's releases shock and wow us? Stay tuned, readers! Same Wii time, same Wii channel!

Adventure Island was fun way back when on the TG-16.

New Adventure Island is great! Support Master Higgins, who is a member of a very small club: platform(?) game protagonists based on Hudson employees.

"hudson - waiting for jj and jeff!!!"
SO AGREED. I have bugged Hudson about this a few times. In an ideal (impossible) world, we'd get both JJ and Jeff and the Japanese Kato and Ken.

I love all the TG-16 games on the virtual console, esp. Super Star Soldier, Soldier Blade, and R-type. More shmups, please.
But I am consistently annoyed by the blurry look of the TG-16 emulator. Will we ever get a patch or upgrade?

Both Hudson and Sega have been more supportive than Nintendo for Virtual Console...
At least, when it comes to releasing the better games. Nintendo only recently let loose some of the good stuff.
