The sights would very rarely line up to where the wii mote is shooting, which is probably why Nintendo or 3rd parties haven't done this themselves.

It's a nicely Crafted Wii Gun... but why is the Wii Remote so far down the gun barrel? That is going to cause a horribly ballanced issue, and bound to be cumbersome to use.
In any case, Im just pointing it out. Its vary like the Wii Remote had to be placed close to the edge of the guns barrel to work correctly, and this was the only gun like they where willing to sacrifice for the project.
