You know, many things have been said about the Wii. Many have commented on its graphics, its WiiConnect24 feature, and of course its gesture-based controls. Not many people have talked about, however, the system's music. We're talking about the slick tunes coming from the Wii Shop Channel and the toe-tapping melody one hears in the Mii Channel. Have you, like us, caught yourself humming in the Mii Plaza? Do you wish that the Wii Shop Channel beats could herald in every incoming call on your cell phone? What's your favorite Wii jam?

All the tones in the system are great. I like the boot up tone as well. I think I might change my bootup on my PC to sound like the Wii's lol

I've always thought the Wii menu/channel music was very cool, but I've never brought it up. It sounds very nice in 7.1 surround, very soothing and warm.

Well, wonderfull WiiFanboys, you're in luck. Various websites have had ripped Wii/Wii Sports music up for weeks now. Of course, Nintendo keeps shutting them down, so you have to get them quick. They're mp3s, but if you have a newer cell phone, you can indeed make them your ringer.

The Wii shopping music is so department store elevator-musak cheesy that it's FANTASTIC. I find myself humming along and bobbing my head while browsing the VC offerings.
