... the latest addition to the Nintendo Fanboy staff, longtime reader JC Fletcher! He will be joining us here as soon as he gets accustomed to the chains The Man employs to keep us in these tiny, tiny cubicles. By way of greeting, he said:"Hello, Fanboy readers! I'm thrilled to be joining the team and helping to provide your daily meta-Nintertainment. I hope we can have a very happy and well-adjusted poster/commenter relationship.
I promise I'll never say "Nintertainment" again."
He signed a contract immediately after, proving he will never again use that word. Give him a few days to adjust, folks. After that, do what you must.
And while we're at it, an update on the state of our search. If you were contacted for the second round, we are still considering your submissions, as we have room for at least one more blogger. If you have not received anything from us so far, then we're sorry -- this wasn't your time. We got a ton of great applications, though, and we offer heartfelt thanks to everyone who sent in samples.

I don't know if it's the goal or not, but I wan't really aware there were multiple writers. Perhaps the byline should be more pronounced, or each writer should have a signature or something.

Welcome!
Please don't post the exact same thing in the Wii and DS fanboy blogs... especially if it originated from Joystiq!

I disagree with krunkster up there.
Reposting is sometimes the best way to put news into attention. If it made it onto joystiq, it means its big enough to warrant its own post here.
I kinda dislike crossposts (same thing, copypaste), however I know its sometimes needed/relevant to both blogs, in which case, go for it.

Bravemen, I'm the funny one. Still, we strive for overall writing consistency and a collective atmosphere, so perhaps we've done our job well...?
Maybe.

A rising tide lifts all ships.
And Nintendo's success with the Wii seems to benefit Wii related Blogs.

May you always use the your, there, and whose you intend. May your "ironiclies" and "coincidentalies" be properly applied. May your posts be always witty and your accompanying pictures make coffee spew forth from my nose. May your grammar and spelling be always on the mark. And most of all, may your Wii see endless hours of use; be it from friends, family, or self.
Welcome!
