Here's one we haven't discussed yet -- how often do you play? Are you truly hardcore, using gaming as a catch-all for all your hobbies and spare time, or do you work to fit it in amidst a busy schedule? How much time a person has to dedicate to gaming often influences the types of games they play. Do you find yourself playing minigames more than anything else, or do you have the time to dedicate to mastering every challenge you can find in Twilight Princess? Tell us all about it.
[We just love the clock.]

According to my Wii I play for about 2 hours a day, which I think is reasonably healthy. I also prefer to play in short 30-40 minute sessions, rather than massive long hauls.
I also only ever play one game at a time, and I like to give a game about 2 weeks to complete. Though games that are very special to me, like Mario and Zelda games I give about 3-4 weeks.
I know, I'm totally obsessive compulsive!

Since we only have 1 TV that is large enough to play on (32" Samsing LCD), I only get to play either late at night (usually on Friday) or on Saturday/Sunday afternoons.
SO...I usually only get 2-3 hours max a week to play any Wii games. Although...I did play hooky from work for 1/2 a day earlier this week and played Twilight Princess for 4 hours straight! (I'm about 20 hours into it, and it honestly feels like it has only been 1 hour).
I have been working my DS for a gaming fix when my partner is home...he got me Hotel Dusk for V-Day. Just started, and it seemd like it is going to be a good one. I get a bout 30 minutes to 1 hour a day on the DS.

I generally try to play SOMEthing everyday. For more involved games like Zelda and RPGs I don't like to play unless I can dedicate a good hour, preferably two, so I can actually make some headway. Maybe less if it's a game I've play before and know what I'm doing. For this reason these games tend to be reserved for weekends.
During the week it's usually anywhere from 5 minutes to an hour. Lately I've been playing Sonic, one or two Acts at a time, for the last week and a half. Love that auto-save.

I go to college ("university" for all you overseas) full time, work 10 hours a week, and work out another 10 hours a week. That leaves me about 3 hours of real free time a day. I usually spend at least one hour a day playing video games. Since November, all of those hours have been on the Wii or Guitar Hero II.
"How much time a person has to dedicate to gaming often influences the types of games they play."
This is very true. When I was in high school I had larger chunks of free time, and I played mostly RPGs and long Adventure games. Now, I'm having a hard time beating Zelda because I haven't found many of those big chunks of free time lately. When I only have about half an hour to play, I throw in Wii Sports, Madden, Rayman, or I play a VC game (Super Mario World, FTW!).
The Wii's keeping me busy, that's for sure. And I can say it is the first console I've been allowed to bring over to my girlfriend's place: she actually asked me to bring Rayman and Wii Sports!

I probably play for 20-30 minutes 2-3 times during the work week (sports or VC mario brothers) and zelda once or twice for 2-5 hours on the weekends. Usually the short sessions are while I'm cooking dinner (pausing to go stir) and the longer sessions don't start until late at night and last until I save and notice how late it is.

I live in college housing with 9 other guys while I'm at school. We've often gone through the list of Wii play times and been amazed at how many hours a day the Wii is on. It has been anywhere between an hour or 11 hours. But that's with people turning it on for a quick Wii Sports fix or for a 3-hour mess of Zelda (which took me roughly 40 hours to beat entirely).

I play in bursts. For instance, the past couple weeks, I've probably played a grand total of two hours of Wii Sports. I just haven't really been up for a new game or even a longer old one since I beat Zelda (which was great, but I thought the last two dungeons/temples kinda sputtered out). The next game I'm really looking forward to is God of War 2 (I have a fairly big backlog, but none of them entice me at the moment).
Add on to that that my job involves "playing" them for at least seven hours daily (game tester...it's cool and all, but very draining in "crunch time" when you're working 75 hours a week, both weekend days for a month or two, etc.), and I think it's understandable that I get burned out or at least uninterested in playing them at home.

That will change in, oh, about 5 days (Sonic, you can't arrive quickly enough)

On the weekends, I play the Wii about 3 hours a day by myself. maybe more, sometimes less. That time is usually dedicated to going through to the end of a game... The evenings or afternoons on those same days, though, oftentimes my parent's friends or relatives come over... And my parents bid me pull out the multiplayer games, and show the guests the Wii. It's pretty... shocking... given that my parents don't actually play.
I play all the games as I feel like it... Slowly chipping away at games like Zelda over the period of MONTHS - I've just now gotten to the last dungeon. Pretty shocking, yes. I've had it since launch. Shorter games, like WarioWare, I beat in one...standing?

I work at a school for behaviorally challenged students (read: violent and unpredictable), so when I get home I generally play at least a 1/2 an hour of a tried and true classic. Lately, I have been obsessed with the VC game Wario's Woods. Soothing repetition... Then I move to my DS to play the new Kirby title, or move on to A Link in Time, which I never beat back in the day. My total time generally clocks in around two hours.

After the first few temples in Twilight Princess, I went off the deep end and started playing about 5 hours a day. Even though I wasn't even halfway through, I could smell the finish line, and it was hard to do anything else with my free time.
Now that I'm done with it, and the only other game I have is Wii Sports, I'd say I play 30 or 40 minutes a day. I play Wii Fitness almost daily, along with a game or two of HR derby and/or bowling...the latter so I can, hopefully, finally capture that elusive perfect game, which I've fallen just short of several times.

Still diligently working on Zelda ( now at ~ 83 Hours)I am at the last dungeon, but try to find the last 18 POEs, and 5 Golden bugs. No cheats, no guide, no FAQs. But this has been hit or miss, played 3 hours today, but none since last Sunday

I usually play for like 3 to 5 hours a day when I get a new game. Currently I'm playing FFVI and this is definitely true right now. And yes I do have a life, it just that on my spare time this is what I do.

I hardly play it at all, I havent actually turned it on in weeks!
I've just lost interest as there aren't any good games out for it. I dont really have alot, if any' spare time so my type of game is something that's a quick fun blast to play, but i don't think there's anything like that out yet.
I bought Zelda but got bored of fishing and chasing cats around and sold it (i've got very little patience with games, hence fondness of quick fun games).
Im really looking forward to Sonic and all the Mario stuff, then i can get back into it!
