wow, what an update we've got for you this week! classic games don't come any classier than the legend of zelda: ocarina of time: the miyamoto masterpiece now available on virtual console.

like most zelda games, ocarina of time is packed full of secrets to discover, but some are more unusual than others. Here is a smal selection of fun facs to look out for while you play...

familiar faces
When you first meet princess zelda in the courtyard of hyrule castle, take a look through the windows and you will can see portraits of mario, peach, bowser and yoshi!

Moo-re milk!
When you have Epona, return to Lon Lon ranch and talk to Malon, and she will challenge you to a race. Win and you'll get your own cow, and an everlasting supply of milk! also, take a close look at Malon's brooch: it's shaped like Bowser's face!

Stone songs
Got a good memory for tunes? many of the ocarina of time songs featured in ocarina of time appear as howling stone songs in twilight princess.

Fishing photo
In twilight princess, inside the hut at the fishing hole, there's a photo of a man. this is the fishing pond owner from ocarina of time.

Whenever the Shop Channel actually gets to the "start shopping" screen, it scares the shit out of me, because its all quiet, then BOOM, that loud, addicting music

would be nice to have something more to do on my wii besides bowl and play games ive already played ... zelda was such an awesome experience that everything else just has not cut it. it would be cool to have stuff like this for our VC though.

So true, it seems Europe are getting extremely cool launches for the VC and stuff but NOA has the advantage in Wii software...don't worry, it will come soon on our US Wiis...

Just when it thought the wii couldnt get any better. That sounds VERY cool. I try to customize my "main screens" to have the greatest games of all times on the first page(mario kart64, kid icarus, super mario64, etc and hopefully someday soon pilotwings64. But is it possible to remove the forecast and news channel from my page like i do for other games?
