It's another week and that means we've got some more Virtual Console games available for download. Leading the pack this week is an awesome classic from Capcom where players must vanquish evil as the good knight Arthur. As for the other two games available for download, we have no frame of reference. We'll have to give them a download before speaking about them. For those of you who have never enjoyed the platforming goodness that is the sequel to the arcade titles Ghosts n' Goblins and Ghouls n' Ghosts, we can safely say before downloading the title that it's worth 800 Wii Points. Regardless, without further delay, here are the facts:
- Super Ghouls 'n Ghosts - SNES - 1 player - 800 Wii Points
- Elevator Action - NES - 1-2 players - 500 Wii Points
- Sword of Vermilion - Sega Genesis - 1 player - 800 Wii Points
Previous Virtual Console updates can be found here.

*sigh* More meh games. Is it too much to ask for Earthbound rather than this spectacular crap and Zelda games Nintendo has rehashed a 1000 times over?

Elevator Action!
I played the Game Boy version although I imagine it's close to the NES. Basically you are a James Bond guy who infiltrates a building from the roof and you have to make your way down to the floor taking elevators and stairs. All I remember is the shotgun kicks ass.
Side notes, does anybody know how to change your password on this site?

Wow, intense frustration brought to the Next Generation! Oh well, the more games, the better...even if some of them are super hard.

So, I guess it makes me old if I talk about how many quarters I spent playing Elevator Action at the arcade?...

Elevator action was one of my favorite games for the nintendo. Ever since the Wii came out, there hasnt been a night without me saying prayers for this title to come! This ghosts n' goblins is preety cool also. Although i just remember the first one. I got my mario 64, kid icarus, mario kart, and street fighter, now all we need is The Goonies and PilotWings and I will be ready to die!
