Seriously, how sadistic are you Kmart? You lure us in with those blue light specials and soon we're signing our name in blood on the dotted line. All for what? A cheap set of plush terry cloth towels? Well, you've tormented us for the last time! Well, actually, you tormented a different blogger for the last time, but all for one and one for all, y'know?See, a blogger, who is still without a Wii (poor lad), has been checking on a daily basis to see if he could snag one of those elusive Wii. And he isn't about to pay for one of them rip-off bundles, either. So upon seeing the system for sale, all by its lonesome, via Kmart's website, he decided to snatch it up with the quickness, only to be let in on the cruel, cruel joke: the console is in stock but only available in quantities of zero.

Something very similar happened to me with K-Mart. I was told that they were holding some Wii's because they had an ad in Sundays paper. I get up early and get to K-Mart before they open and when i get there no Wii's in sight. I go to front desk and they call all the locations in town and none of them had them. I understand that the ad said "While Supplies Last" but that false advertisement because they had no supplies. Someone should look into K-Marts advertising practices because that is wrong to do that.

Are people still having difficulty finding the systems? I walked into my local Wal Mart the other day and they had 6 sitting in the case. I don't even want mine anymore...such is the life

I will give us 50 bucks for your unwanted Wii...I love mine and I got up at 4:15 am on launch day to get it and was worth every non-sleeping hour. I feel bad to whomever doesn't have one. I have had this happen to me from Office Depot, but about computer products. Those K-mart bastards!!

People are retarded. I don't like my Wii but I'll continue to read Wii-related sites and post on Wii-related topics. We don't care if you don't like the Wii.

The last line reminds me of the old Ford motto,"You can have a car in any color you want, so long as it's black."

Hell, i'd buy a second Wii as soon as the price drops AND it comes in red, or black, maybe yellow or green. One for the living and 'entertainment' room, and with two Wii's, i could (in good conscience) finally give up my Gamecube.
Just think, a white 360, a black ps3, a red Wii in between...gaming orgy at its best.

I bought a bundle at Walmart's website before Christmas and returned all of the games in the store. It worked because everything was itemized on the receipt and there was no discount for the package. So basically, I had to pay a slightly higher shipping fee to get my Wii during the height of demand, which was worth not buying it from those bastards on ebay. In other words, the bundle may not be a huge ripoff.

I wasn't trying to rub it in anyones face, or say I don't love the machine, b/c it is amazing and I love the interface. But Wii Sports has gotten old and I haven't the foggiest what else to play. I was just saying I'm surprised people still have a difficult time finding them. But I've had this happen to me at several online sites too, and I do not do business with them anymore.

Good idea. I did something similar when I got mine at Target on launch. The deal was buy two games, get one free. I really only wanted Rayman and Zelda so I bought that and some random third. I returned that, got my $50 and bought me another wiimote.
