If our lives didn't revolve around Nintendo, we'd think Peter Moore worked for the company. Instead, we know he's the competition, however his public attitude as of late towards Nintendo presents anything but, as he once again compliments the company and speaks about how much of a fan he is.In the latest edition of gaming magazine EGM, during an interview Moore says he was hoping his "friend" Reggie would "send me one [a Wii]," but quickly reminds us his house is dominated by another console. Moore also goes on to say that there is no bigger franchise in gaming, to him at least, than Mario.

One of these days he's going to start talking about the Wii-60 combo again.

Its funny because I bought a 360 a year after launch and Its being played to death. (TMNT arcade starting tommorow)
I bought a Wii on launch day and after TP I really have gave the system to much attention what with the PSP ports and all.

I agree with the others in the fact that i play 360 way more than wii. I am pretty happy with the wii because i expected nothing great to come out for a while and my 360 is keeping me happy. But if i just owned the wii and thats all i would be having buyers remorse right now.

HA! I'm in Zen's situation almost to the letter. I got a 360 the week before Christmas 06, and a Wii on launch day. I played the shit out of TP, played a bit of Excite Truck, and since then have only turned it on to play GC games. My 360, on the other hand, has been host to several dozen really cool demos and 3-4 games that I like and spend time with. I'm not saying the 360 is "better" in any particular sense, but it's disappointing that Nintendo had that extra year to work on everything and still managed to have such a pitiful trickle of post-launch games.
And if MP3 actually does wind up being a 2008 game, I will scream so loud you'll hear it in Tibet.

There's a big shocker to all those playing 360 more than Wii.
The 360's been out a year and has over 100+games. Granted, the majority are crap, but that's beside the point. The Wii's been out, what, not even 4 months?
Jeez, get a freakin' grip on reality people.

Took the words right out of my mouth.
Most people that want wiis still dont have them. It wouldn't make sense if they unloaded all their big games at once within the first four months.

I bought my Wii soon after launch and I loved it, I still love it, I have only not played on it for one day, (that was my friends 18th and I played on his instead). My whole family (even my 90 year old grandma) love playing on it together. I cant imagine any of us enjoying any other console together. It is a bit of a shame that nothings beaten wii sports yet.
Who is Peter Moore any way?

thats not really fair due to the fact that you got the 360(which still kicks ass BTW)a year after launch and are comparing it to a system that has been out for a lot less time. Since you are complaining about games, try Madden 07. I know almost nothing about football but that game is much fun. And for people saying that Zelda is too short, try pacing yourself and completing everything. i've had it since launch and still haven't gotten to Zant.

Say what you will, Peter Moore is a classy guy and I like that he's straight about the fact that he's also a Nintendo fan at heart. I wish Reggie would take a perhaps less intense tack, but I know it's a war he's in...
