We can't honestly say we're surprised at the results of our latest poll pertaining to the Wii's Virtual Console service's pricing, since its titles lack the extras that most games released on one of its competitor's service offers. And with Nintendo being so secretive about the numbers of games downloaded and their revenue from the service, we're wondering just how successful the service has been. Plus, with the pain of inputing your credit card info every time you want to add Wii Points to your account (unless you purchase cards, of course), we can understand how most are put off by the service.

I don't think that 5-10 dollars is too much for a great old game. Considering that a small portion of the games released would be considered great, the prices should top out at their respective set tags.
5 Bucks for kirby's adventure= great deal
6 bucks for vigilante= butt rape

Well since the choices were happy with and OMG THEY'RE HORRIBLE! I'm not surprised. You needed a somewhat dissatisfied choice

As much as I love Nintendo, they've made me wait *far* too long to be able to cash in my Nintendo Star points for Wii points. I will cash those in for a game when they finally let me and then that will be it.

I think the pricing is fair. People always want something for nothing. These games are worth the price they've put on them.

So far I've bought 0 (zero) VC games.
And it's likely to remain 0 (zero) for quite some time.
There are a couple classic SNES games I'd like to play again, but for the current prices I'm only going to buy classic RPG games or maybe one or two multiplayer games.
The prices aren't terrible, but they're high enough that I'm not going to impulse purchase anything.

nintendo is ALL ABOUT ease of use UNLESS it involves going online in any way. then it becomes a pain (i.e. friend codes, wii codes, everybody votes (way to many confirmation messages - you should be able to vote on the main screen), virtual console)
entering my card info over and over has prevented me from buying plenty of games.
