They claimed Mario Paint DS quite some time ago, I have yet to see it :P

On a side note, didn't you use to write (or still write for?) PSP Fanboy? I remember ya on Dueling Analog's comic some time ago :P

I call fake. The fact you didn't mention April Fools in your article disturbs me to no end. While ONM may seem like it's about to announce this, I think this is just Spong being royal faggots as usual and jumping the gun with made up sources and can then later go "o lol april fools" if no new NiGHTS appears. I remain skeptical over a new NiGHTS, however I really don't want a 'new' nights, for it will suck, like new Sonic games.

i agree with ssuk it's gotta be an early April fools joke. But I never played NiGHTS before so I won't know what to expect if it does come out on the wii and/or VC.

I'll reiterate, SPOnG's incredibly unreliable. I remember when they went nuts over the fact that the GBA SP couldn't play Kirby's Tilt 'n Tumble and used this as proof that the GBA SP had different hardware than the GBA. I wrote in and pointed out that most of us gamers had figured out it wouldn't work the moment the SP was announced, not due to different hardware, but due to the different orientation of the cartridge slot. The editor wrote back with a mock apology about how they can't be psychic and assume these things, and then went into a tirade about how it was just like Nintendo to make those changes just like when the GBC was released and Nintendo said it would be exactly the same hardware but in color, but he just knew there were hardware differences and they'd start making games that wouldn't work work on the original GB, and sure enough many months later they did. I pointed out that Nintendo made it well known from the GBC's first announcement that the processor was twice as fast, and it had more video and system memory, and that there would be three types of games: Ones that played on both but had full-color palettes, ones that had a different engine when playing on the GBC, and ones that were GBC exclusive. His reply was along the lines of, "Oh yeah? What date was the GBC first announced? I remember." I'm still trying to figure out what point he was trying to make.

Like someone else said. IF ONM is confirming a new NiGHTS, then Spong claims they had the exclusive first. +20 pts for Spong.

IF this is all gibberish rumors, then Spong can just go April fools, and they lose no credibility (of what little they have)

I had never seen gameplay videos of NiGHTS, so I YouTubed it. It looks fun. More rhythm action or puzzle than platformer. Is that right?

Well, it sorta reminds me of Mario Galaxy.

I'd love to play it if they make it available.

Since when is Spong a credible source? All they do is use the shotgun method, make up a plethora of rumors, and then when one is spot on they claim they had the exclusive. I deem this one fit for the circular filing cabinet.
