We love the Virtual Console. In the (completely mythical) drought periods between flagship Wii titles, the Virtual Console gives us a steady diet of excellent, cheap games. More than that, it serves as a history lesson for all the new gamers flooding into the hobby, and those too young to remember the 8-bit era. Also it gives you all a second chance to buy some Turbografx-16 games. Obviously, we want more. We love the available consoles, but they aren't enough. We salivated over the Saturn rumors, and we'd like to see that. In fact, we have a great deal of affection for all Sega consoles. We'd like to see some Master System games show up on the VC soon.
What consoles would you like to see added to the lineup? Any answer is the right answer, as long as it's not the ActionMax!

Definatly the NeoGeo. The only games I got to play where the ones in the arcades... It would be lovely to play some of the things I missed out on by not owning the PS3 of it's day (surely you guys remember it's price point!)

Yeah, I'd love me some Neo-Geo fighters. I'm talking Mark of the Wolves, Rage of the Dragons, and some Matrimelee. If we are going arcade route, I'd love to see some Capcom CPS1 and CPS2 games...

I would love to see Atari 5200 and 7800 games included in the Virtual Console luv...and maybe ColecoVision. There were some really fun games for each of those systems.
Oh yeah - where's KABOOM! (Atari 2600). It's simple and crazy, but loads of fun.

Pong, Colecovision, Intellevision, Commodore, Atari (all of them), MSX, Sega Master System, Turbografx CD, Sega CD, Sega 32X, Phillips CD-i, Jaguar, Neo-Geo, Neo-Geo CD, Apple Pippin, 3DO, GP32X, N-Gage, GB, GBC, Game Gear, Atari Lynx, Wonderswan Color, Neo-Geo Pocket, Sega Saturn, and Sega Dreamcast. Oh and all the arcade versions that are superior to the home console versions.

They should be able to bust out dozens VC games every week. These are straight ports from games made 10-20 years ago. The reason that they only release a handful each week is that Nintendo knows that all of us are suckers. We'll say "Wow, Tecmo Bowl!" and drop $5 for a download. Really, we would prefer to download the much superior Tecmo Super Bowl, but we don't know when (or if) that game is going to be released to us.

Far from mythical... The Wii currently has 1 game worth $50 , and that game is painfully bad in the graphics department.

I would personally love to see some Dreamcast games show up, but I doubt that will happen since the Dreamcast engine was so unconventional.
In the meantime, how about some more N64 games?

I'm pretty surprised that nobody has mentioned GB/GBC/GBA yet. For that matter, they could probably work something out with the DS if they really wanted to. At the very least, there have been a number of A++ GBA titles that would do great on the Wii, and I'm sure writing an emulator would be a walk in the park for the Big N. Advance Wars FTW!

Don't like to double-post, but I wanted to follow up to some comments that were made while I was typing my previous one.
I used to *love* World Heroes (1&2... was there a 3?) in the arcade, and NG King of Monsters was much better than the SNES version. Samurai Shodown, of course, and a few other non-fighters... but KoF I could take or leave. Unfortunately, the ROMs would probably be ~50-100 megs each, which doesn't leave a lot of space on the Wii flash drive.
As for N64... yeah, that's what excites me the most of the current offerings, since it's the only Nintendo console I never owned. I don't think there were a *lot* of games I missed (I played OOT, Goldeneye, Mario64, and Paper Mario on a friend's console), but there had to be at least a few. I'm hoping they'll up the release rate for 64 games as time goes by.

I want all the Zelda games on my Wii, save for Phantom Hourglass, unless they can port the controls over. So for my wish, I'd like the VC to include Gameboy, Gameboy Color, and Gameboy Advanced games.

Sinclair ZX Spectrum and Commodore 64 definitely need to make an appearance. Shame we're unlikely to ever see any Ultimate Play The Game titles making an appearance.
