Sure, everybody loves Miis, but would you let your sister marry one?* Over at Mike Nelson's 1UP blog, there's a short piece on the best use of Mii sculptures yet -- as wedding cake toppers! Even if you think that Miis are getting a little too much exposure these days (they really are everywhere), it's hard to resist the idea of Mii wedding cake toppers. For a Nintendo-loving couple, we can't think of a better choice, and if you want an irreverent likeness on your wedding cake, there's no comparison.
*It occurs to us that this old joke is really starting to show its age ... not only because of the prejudicial undertones, but really, modern brothers get no say in who their sisters marry, amirite? This "let" business needs to go!

Although I think many people would have skipped over that "joke" and not even realized what it was supposed to be; but it's hard to skim over the blatant stereotypical remark made in an attempt to exlain it.
Surely you must see that the phrasing of, "but really, modern brothers get no say in who their sisters marry, amirite?," sounds like a mocking of those of us who have African American Herritage.

I thought Alisha meant "Black People" by "brothers" too, but she just means, you know, brothers, male siblings...
I tell you one thing though, i wouldn't let my sister marry one of those Apple fanboys. Those guys are a lower form of life... (sarcasm)

I saw after reading it a few times that it would mean strickly "brother" in a family sort of way. It just seems, "amirite," harkens a likeness to a Chris Rock rutine.
@ Skyone - ...um lot's of people. I'm sure that NWFB would rather not offend people directly by lambasting their race, or stereotyping anybody.

@Wonderflex: All I'm saying is that people suspect racial slurs when they aren't even present - and if they are present, society takes them far to harshly.
Anyways, this wedding Mii is cute and all, but in reality, if I was getting married - my wife wouldn't go through with the wedding if I chose this stuff.
