The most obvious feature of PEGA's Blue Light Stand is the blue light, which is for the Wii owner who, maybe, hasn't gotten enough attention for the fact that they own a Wii. Or, alternately, for people who frequently trip over their systems in the dark.
However, the classy, functional blue light is not the only feature of this stand! It stores your Wiimote and recharges batteries through the Wii's USB connection. It also has a cooling fan built in! We haven't heard if anyone's having heat issues, but it happens to all the other consoles, so it's entirely possible.
Looking at it kind of makes us want to install a subwoofer or a rear spoiler on our system. Unfortunately, we haven't heard of any Wii-size spoilers, and we also don't have any retail information for this stand yet, so we can't tell you where to buy one.

Sometimes I check in the morning and my wii's really hot from being on all night in standby.
But yesterday, after an incredible 13 hr, 49 min zelda binge (i already beat it, just doing extra stuff; rollgoal is a bitch), the wii wasn't hot at all, just a tad warm
I bet none of you can beat my more-than-half-a-day sit-down streak!!!!
You all have more of a life than me, HAHA!!

@Eaode, #4: Only about 14 hours? Try 27 hours in a row. Only had to get up once to change a damn bloody pad. That wasn't fun...
The charger itself looks kinda sexy, but I wish it'd glow different colors. Purple and dark red maybe.

Curiousity... does the Wii have to be on to be charging the batteries? makes sense that it does yes? but it would suck for the power to be on in order to charge your batteries

@#8 no the wii doesn't have to be on to charge the batteries. From my experience the wii is always sending power to the usb ports when in standby mode. I recently discovered this when i decided to see if my Wii could charge my zune. I plugged in the zune and to my surprise it was charging without me having turned on the wii yet.

i've had heat problems with my wii. i didn't put it on the stand coz there was no room and the left side buldged out a centimetre or so and was really hot. i was scared, which is really sad but i had just got it a week or two before and to have it heat up and get bigger was scary. it still has a realy small bulge but it hasn't overheated agian.
