This comes as sad news to us here at Fanboy HQ, as we always thought Elebits was one of the more fun games available on the system. Those in Europe won't find that out for that much longer now, as today saw the confirmation of the title's delay in the region. The new release date is currently being listed as the 3rd of May.
So which of you European readers is excited for this game?

Oh Come on! How freaking long does it take to localise a game? It's been months, and still nothing!
Urge to kill...rising...very quickly indeed

I'm in Australia, and I would like to continue to make it known that WE ARE NOT A F#$%ING PART OF EUROPE. Why the hell do we cop their delays? Why do we cop their stupid overtly PC name changes (in Australia, 'bit' means either a small piece of something, or a single binary digit, nothing else)? Why do we have to wait for the game to be localised into 15 different languages when we speak English?!?!?
Argh! Nintendo have finally started treating us as an independent region, but only just - we get some games before Europe, and an independent console release date, but for the most part, we still seem to be piggybacked onto europe for games. WHY?!

Because it takes less resources to consider Europe and Australia as one continent/region?

This is a bad game and it was because of the positive spin this blog put on it that I had the misfortune of getting it. It is EXTREMELY repetitive! All you do is walk around pointing the Wiimote at Elebits and clicking. That's the entire goal of the game. You can pick up objects too....in order to find more Elebits. This game is fun for 5 minutes then very boring. I didn't even finish it.

No:
Because Australia uses the PAL signal on its TV's like Britain and all of Europe except France and Russia
There's a reason its called the PAL region, cuz that's how the TV signal is (576i at 50hz instead of 480i at 60hz), which is also the reason why its so easy to un-region lock between North America and Japan, as its all NTSC

Hey dukemeiser, if you change "click on Elebit" to "shoot bad guy," you just explained 40% of the games that have come out so far this year.
This is one of the most original shooters I've ever played. I loved it. Now the Wii just needs a Half-Life game with the gravity gun. ::drools::

I feel your pain Sketchy, I too loathe their lazy attitudes towards us just because we use a superior TV encoding. NTSC sucks, and I hope one of these new HD types will kill it for good.
The whole idea of region encoding is a joke with today's modern tech, the console world have just been holding on to it because it's a convenient way to avoid proper global launches. I hate hearing about America's latest game all over the internet, but not being able to touch the damn thing until months later.
