Wii did the same thing for E3 2K6.
We snatched a classroom, plugged a laptop to the proyector, logged into IGN to get a stream for E3 2K6, grabbed a pair of speakers, and enjoyed the presentation.

...we did it last friday, it was pretty tight, especially playing SMB on the screens [childhood NES dream come true], only problem was the censor bar...
someone walked in on us and was like... "uhhh whatre you guys doing"
it was good fun, we'll probably do it with GH2 later this week

The week after our classes let out for Christmas break, I brought my Wii to our campus (I work as staff so I'm there even when classes are out) and my department spent a good part of a day playing Wii Sports in our TV studio.

I dont really see how this is news..... many people (including me) have projectors at home, they are fairly cheap.....
