Flight and fight fans will be getting their fix this week as the Wii will see a pair of new releases. The duo may not be what you're looking for in a new game, but at least we're getting more than we did last week. Here's what we're getting:
- Heatseeker
- Legend of the Dragon
- Spider-Man 3
Update: Wow, we can't believe we forgot about Spider-Man 3. It's releasing this week, sorry for the omission.

Isn't Spiderman 3 coming to the Wii this week? Thwip those controllers and smash lamps like in the first movie.

I'm going to keep my eye on Heatseeker. The reviews look to be both good and bad. Some people love it and some hate it. But that's what happened with SSX Blur and I love that game. I may rent it first or wait until my brother buys it and see what he has to say.

Heatseeker looks like it might be a fun rental, but as I am unfamiliar with the source material for "Legend of the Dragon," I will just assume it is the usual licensed trash.

I'm going for the releases you didn't list: SpiderMan3 and Castlevania on the VC.

So either Heatseeker is really ugly or that screenshot is from the PSP.

Spiderman 3 and Heatseeker both look pretty decent (graphics aside and I'm hoping Heatseeker looks way better than that screenshot).
A couple of retailers have a promo to buy Spiderman 3 and get Spiderman 2 free, so that may push me over the edge since I love me some free stuffs :)

That screenshot for Heetseeker looks like a PS1 or N64 game. Pathetic.
I'm sick and tired of these companies making such a poor effort with graphics. They should be able to make games look at least as good as Xbox1 or Gamecube.

Judging from the ingame videos I've seen that screen is definately from the PS2 release. The Wii release looks much better (although the planes are very detailed, the terrain needs improving).

I loved that mini game in Twiligh tPrincess were you use the wiimote to fly that dragon thing up the river to collect the fruit. The sensation of navigating with the pointer was fantastic, so i think Heatseeker should be boat-loads of fun.
Will rent first.

Having been playing Heatseeker for the past two weeks (yay early Aus release!) I can confirm that it is a hell of a lot of fun, confirms that flight sims can work beautifully on Wii, and has some really pretty moments too (planes and explosions are great, terrain and land enemies are piss poor graphically). Worth a buy.
