In a brief glimpse into Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, we're shown a few of the spells at Harry's disposal, as well as how interactive the sandbox world is. Tables are levitated, chairs are tossed about and we imagine any JK Rowling fan is trying to roll their tongue back into their mouth right about now. This could very well be the most accurate representation of the films around, which might not be the most accurate representation of the books. Apples and oranges aside, the game looks like a blast.

Looks awesome, wonder how many spells there'll be.
Shouldn't 'Sectum sempra' be in this one? :P

Well, "Sectumsempra" and "Levicorpus" were from the 6th book, although "Diffindo" from the earlier games would serve a similar purpose to "Sectumsempra". (Lord, I'm a nerd.) Unless "Diffindo" wouldn't let you cut anything living. Of course, I can't see WB Interactive letting you run around cutting people open, as fun as that might be. I think that just might cost the game its Teen rating.

I'm a big fan of the books, and I really hope this turns out well. The movie looks great, and if the game turns out good too, this will show that the non-book parts of the franchise are moving in a very good direction.
And wow, that does look like a lot of fun. I mean, what Harry Potter fan hasn't wanted to walk around Hogwarts and use all the spells from the book? I really hope that they bring in J. K. Rowling for some exclusive content, and I also hope that they keep all of the minor characters that are not as stressed in the films. (Dean Thomas, Pansy Parkinson, and Lavender Brown, to name a few for you book fans)

Harry Potter on the Wii is "big pimpin'" for realz. Now I don't have to slap on a blanket-cloak and wave around a stick to pretend I'm a wizard...not that I actually do that or anything. Anyways, it looks great, and I cannot wait to buy it-- my Wii has been very game deprived; I think it's going through abandonment issues.
