Thank god BWii is still alive, but has anyone noticed that Project HAMMER and Disaster appear to have fallen off the radar?

...now, what about "Mario Galaxy?" I guess I was under the impression that "Galaxy" would be released before "MP3"...but apparently not...

I MP3:C would be as "complicated" as Z:TP.
I'm bit frustrated by usual "die, restart all over" ideology of most console games. Playing Doom or Quake on PC saving every minute is norm of life. And not that I die often. But on consoles, games tend to try to deviate - and rarely keep to purity of genre. Thanks to cracking, piracy and bittorrent I can now actually fully preview most PC games before buying. But on consoles it is different. And it is more often mixed bag - mini-games, some silly tasks which have nothing to do with main genre of game - often spoil game completely. And worst - there is no instant save/load functions.
I can only hope that MP3:C would be mostly shooter - like MP3:H was. Mostly. Some silly timed places where you are have to do something in N:NN minutes... This sucked a lot. I hope MP3:C would have few/no levels like that.

But the Metroid Prime series of games aren't intended to be first person shooters. They're called, by their producers, first person adventure games.
So although obviously you have the right to want 'pure first person shooter' gameplay, you have to realize that that's never been what Retro was aiming for. And as such, that's probably not what you'll get.
And things like 'silly' timed events have been a part of the Metroid series from the beginning.

I have been waiting for this game for a long time. Glad the rumors weren't true of a Winter release date!!!

I was disappointed to find the article was about Metroid Prime 3. I thought the headline was indicating an mp3 playing channel was going to be released (like using a networked computer's share).

This is basically Nintendo saying their fiscal 2nd quarter (our gregorian 3rd quarter)
Galaxy and Brawl later on is find by me
And i knew they would push Prime out the door before Halo 3, they basically had to if they wanted to beat MP2's (relatively) poor sales

HAMMER and Disaster are probably pushed back to later on
I mean, Nintendo needs something bigger to really please the crowds in the longer term, especially since they're new IPs

They can't expect any sales if they don't have more adds.
I've heard Nintendo's moving their PR offices to New york.
Hopefully some one there will do a better job!!
Microsoft's "Gears of War" campaign was amazing. And i saw those adds a bunch of times. No one bought Echoes because they were too cheap to advertise it. Awesome game though. Wow.

P.S :I bet they'll release "Animal crossing Wii" next X-mas and it will be the biggest game on the system. Can you imagine all the onlione stuff they could do? OMG.

RTFM.. It tells you in the Wii MANUAL that you can listen to mp3's in the Photo Channel. ;) You can also use any mp3's you've got on the SD card on Excite Truck.
But hey, back on topic - Metroid Prime 3! Pre-order get!

I won't preorder get, but I'll definitely Metroid Prime 3 get! I'm glad I've got some heads up on it, I've still got to finish Super Paper Mario.
