Growing up without a father in your life can be tough, we know. Do any of these scenes sound familiar? Staring outside the window, watching your friends learn to ride a bike with their dads while you spend the afternoon alone, cutting out misshapen dinosaurs from construction paper? Learning to shave from that old Simpsons episode when Homer taught Bart instead of having your own pops show you how to use a razor? Buying a Father's Day card every year "just in case," even though you know there's no point? It's been over 20 years; why would he want to see you now? With IBW Publications' NintenDadz software, you can still have those essential life lessons and childhood experiences that single-parent families often lack. Play catch in the backyard, build a birdhouse, and enjoy dozens of other simulated father-son activities with over 100 minigames to choose from! Leave your self-pity at the door, and run past the post break for the NintenDadz fact sheet and the father you've always wished would come home.
Note: If it isn't already obvious, this is a complete sham of a game. But that doesn't mean we can't have fun with it!
NintenDadz
Are you a Father who is tired of having to spend quality time with little Timmy or Suzy, teaching them to play ball, go shopping or even just helping them do their homework? Or maybe you are a kid who's father isn't "really there" and you need a father figure. Well NintenDadz is just the thing for both situations.
Gameplay
NintenDadz utilizes the Wii's unique interactive controls to completely immerse the player into lifelike Father - Child interactions. This interaction takes the form of Mini-game madness, with over 100 mini-games emulating real life Father - Child Interactions including:
- Playing Catch
- Building a birdhouse
- Playing a board game (chess, checkers, tic-tac-toe)
- Doing Homework (math, spelling, and reading)
- Golfing
- Get out there and Mow the @!#@!% Lawn
- Attending church
- Attending Your School Play
- What Part of "No" don't you understand
- Hide and Seek (here's a hint: NintenDadz is on the couch watching the ball game)
- Parent Teacher Conference
- Take that Makeup off your not a $%#@^ hooker
- Don't tell your mother about this.

Is this a joke?
As a person who grew up in a house with only a mother, I must say I still wouldn't have wanted this game. Sounds kind of...boring.
In any case fathers are overrated anyways.

Umm, this is actually pretty insulting. I guess it's probably not targeted specifically at people who grew up without fathers...probably just people in general, but still... I grew up in a house full of sisters and my mom, and there's no way I'd ever play this. And totally disagree with ya there Geoff. You should read To Own a Dragon by Donald Miller. I guarantee you'll relate to 95% of what he says in the book.

I grew up in a house with 2 parents, but I must say that this post kind of crosses the line, even for NWF. Whats worse is that the 'humour' has no point but to reference Father's Day. You guys are better than this. Unneeded, possibly offensive humour only works on television.

I didn't even learn from the Simpsons. One day I just started cutting my face up until I found out how to do it right.

I can assure everyone it is a joke, and in fact was not a rip on Nintendo at all. It was a commentary on all the bad father's out there who dump their children in front of a video game system instead of being their dad.
How can I say this, It's was my idea. I wish that the original poster had included the complete text of the site.

BTW I am a divorced/remarried father of two, I know of what I speak.

those scenes weren't meant to be offensive; they are specific experiences that i picked out of my own life, growing up without a father. yeah, they're pretty pitiful, but i found them funny looking back on them now.
