I had planned on picking up MP8, but after the absolutely horrid reviews it received (a 52 from IGN!), I'll be passing.

I've still got tons of games to choose from. I'll probably put off SPM a little longer so I can (finally!) finish Twilight Princess, which I've had since launch day! I don't get what people are complaining about with a "drought" and all, I haven't had the time to finish all of the games I've bought. Maybe it's because I've constantly had Wii Sports in even after 6 months. Tiger Woods replaced the Golf game, but Bowling and Tennis are still worth a play.

I can't wait for a Top Spin game or similar.

c'mon vidGuy, they gave it a 52 because it's singleplayer is lacking (as the other ones are as well) and that it's basically the same game as before.

I enjoyed the first 7 and I'll enjoy this one. :)

i'm moving into a new apartment this weekend, but i'm hoping to squeeze some super paper mario in there at some point. i'm on chapter 8-4, so i'm pretty anxious to finish the game.

Just finished up my first year of medical school, so I'm looking forward to kicking back and finishing SPM (about half done) and TP (I think I had gotten to the twilight zone (or whatever it's called).

I just picked up Mario Party yesterday. I've gotta say I'm kind of disappointed. They really should have waited for Wifi for this one. I love Mario Party and all and the wiimote definitly adds to the game but overall I found myself bored.

Could you explain, Kian? You mention waiting for WiFi... can I take this to mean you played by yourself? If so, like Ravin' Rabbids or Warioware or any other party game, I think the choice to play solo is the problem.

Busted out some Mario Party 8 with 3 other friends, and we had a blast!

The game's great... reviews aren't accurate at all.

MP8 started a system update as soon as I put the disc in, anyone know what got updated?

I've played MP6 and MP7 for days on end. Both games were incredibly fun but I have to admit that MP8 is really disappointing. The animation is short of choppy, the graphics are weak... The gameplay is there but /shrug it's nothing special.
