Remember when Data Design Interactive was going to port a "few" titles to the Wii? Apparently, a "few" means "more than thirty." By the end of the year, it looks like we will be rich in clunky, poorly-reviewed budget ports. Thanks, Data Design. And by "thanks," we mean, "gah, why?" Not a single game we've seen announced is new ... and we're not sure we'd want to see a new one if they made it.
Don't let the cute look of Ninjabread Man fool you. All signs point to awful.

I don't care how awful they are - more games means more attention, which eventually leads to bigger sales. THEN we will see the good 3rd party games come in as developers who are after the big cash-in see the Wii is where it is at.

How can you hate a game featuring a Gingerbread Man as a Ninja?
That's like Game of the Century quality right there.

Whilst the game may be poor, Ninjabread Man is probably the most awesome title for a game I've seen in a while. XD

It IS a great title -- but here, look at just one review source: http://ps2.ign.com/objects/716/716154.html
Doesn't look much like anything worth playing.

Unless, of course, people associate the Wii with only crap 3rd-party games. Nintendo singing about low dev costs, ports with new controls, and tons of VC re-releases instead of new content, doesn't help. What kind of developers are you going to attract with that siren song?
Eh, everything is about image and emotional reactions to packaging. Frankly, I don't really think the quality of games matters, anymore.

So? People will buy it anyway.
