Are there really people who buy one new game a week?

I guess some people could - I know that if I didn't work (if I was younger, lazy, etc ;) I'd probably play through a game every week or two. Right now, though, I've got SPM and RE4 to keep me company, with SF2:Turbo and SMB2 sitting on the side.

Forget about this week... I'd be mad over the lack of quality games since the launch of the Wii.
I used to love this thing, but its getting tired and old now. In fact, its getting so little love lately that the dust is really starting to collect...
Wish they would make a come back with something decent soon or I'll officially be loving my 360 better.

The challenge vidGuy is that when you didn't work, you didn't have the money to get a new game every week :).
It's the cold cruelty of life that when I was younger, I had time to play more games but didn't have enough money to buy them, and now I can buy more games but don't have time to play them.

haha, so true. It used to take me weeks of delivering newspapers to save up for one measly game that I'd play to death for a few days and be done with. Now I could buy a new game everyday if I wanted to and I only just recently finished Twilight Princess on account of not having enough time to play.
Maybe that's why I'm not worried by a "drought"... I've always got something sitting on my shelf that I haven't played. Case in point, I've got to go back and actually finish Metroid Prime 1 and 2 before I buy 3; I just never got around to finishing them.

@Jonathan T: I don't think many people play/buy a game per week but the more games that are released in a given week = the better chance one of those will be one you're particular to.
I just picked up Metal Slug anthology, so I'll be playing that. Can't seem to figure out 4-player on it though. I also noticed it has listed in the manual a Metal Slug 3D game but can't find it in-game. I noticed it says "some games may not be present on certain region disks"
