Famitsu has posted a massive amount of screenshots for the upcoming deep sea exploration title on the Wii Forever Blue. This, of course, caused us to become very excited, given that we haven't seen anything on the game in months. And, judging from the screenshots, the game is going to be quite fun, allowing the player to explore many an underwater locale, documenting the species of lifeforms they may come across. Not only that, but there is dolphin petting. And you can ride those dolphins.
If there ever was a game that could let us act out our want to be Steve Zissou, this is it!

This game looks beautiful, simple, and has expanded audience appeal. I am really looking forward to this.

According to Joystiq, this game will use WiFi to have a friend hop on.
This game has multiplayer, but Metroid Prime 3 couldn't. *sigh*
(I'll stop beating on the dead horse now)

this game does have incredible graphics, and its amazingly non-traditional! i can't believe people haven't jumped on more of this 'fully interactive non-game exploration' idea before, but this is one simulator that a lot of Wii owners will get. I bet all of us hardcore wiifanboy checkers will be on board for the great graphics, wifi ability, and intriguing gameplay while the grandmothers and parents of the world will be interested by the non-threatening, non-enemy based nature of this (plus, lets face it, the educational aspect). What a great game. This is the kind of stuff Nintendo need on the Wii to truly be a console for everyone. If this does good, stuff like Jungle Safari, moon exploration etc would not be far behind!

As someone said elsewhere; this is Nintendo's answer to Sony's "Afrika"
Now whatever happened to THAT title?

Well, considering that EverBlue 2 (of which this is a port) was rubbish, I wouldn't set my hopes too high for this one.
59/100 on Metacritic:
