Nintendo has promised at least two more casual, practical titles to come for the Wii in the near future: the Wii Health Pack and Wii Music. These, along with Wii Sports and Wii Play, form the Wii Series, a set of simple games designed to get people playing together and enjoying the motion-sensitive controls. As serious fanboys, however, we're pretty sure you don't need to be convinced that the Wii is awesome. Still, we've got to admit we're curious -- if you had to pick one, which would it be? Are you more interested in exercising with your Wii, or in doing a little conducting?Wii Warm Up: Music or health?

Wii Music has so much potential to be awesome, it's crazy. It would kick ass being able to record songs and upload them for others to hear. Or being able to re-mix things with the Wiimote.
Unfortunately, I don't have much faith in Nintendo to do something like that and go all the way. They'll probably just make a few crappy little music-related games and that'll be that.

Wii Music. I can exercise (and do) all of the time, and Wii Sports is enough virtual exercise for me. But if the game played like a beefed-up version of Electroplankton, it would be crazy fun. And I agree with samfish, recording and sharing tunes would be sweet. It would also be cool if they could be used for background music in some games.

Wii Music. I've wanted it since Miyamoto used it to open the E3 2006 press conference. I just hope 1) it has more games than just drums and orchestra and 2) it doesn't cost $50 like Wii Play (even if it comes with a remote, since I really don't need another one).

Wii Health. I'll use it more often than I would ever use Wii Music.

I'd pick Music, it seems more fun, and being a band geek myself, make this the right choice

I'd rather see Wii Music come out. I'd definitely buy it, so long as it wasn't $50.

Well, as a gamer the very thought of 'Wii Health' makes me shudder, so I guess I'll go with Wii Music then!!

Definately Wii Music. I'm a huge Band Nerd at school and I intend to become a director at some point in my life. This would be excellent practice, right?

Contrary to #8 I want games to pervade every aspect of my life including my exercise routine.. I already do Wii Tennis and Boxing as part of my cardio. I just wish I could have a boxing match where both sides always get up and instead of a final KO I could just get a knock down counter to pace myself.. That'd be the best =)
Anyway, Wii Music seems way too lame for me. I play guitar though so I guess orchestral conducting is beyond me.

Heh, 8 confirmations of what we already knew to be true: NWF readers (and probably Internet People in general) have more interest in music than exercise... not that we really needed any sort of poll to tell us.
I'd be more interested in Wii Music, as well, but I'd like to know more about what they let you do first.

ok, i choose Wii Music, simply because its something i havent seen before, i think...
anyway, whg couldn't these games be Wii Channels of their own? you know like the Everybody Votes Channel, because you know that it will cost $50, just like Wii Play.
So i say Wii Channels!

Well, they gave us Remotes before, now give us Nunchucks and make the games $30 + a "FREE NUNCHUCK" (or rather, a nunchuck featuring a $10 game :P) than both will sell well :D!
But seriously, Wii music..well, if it's just conducting, then I really don't know, seems, stupid :S...I'm gonna have to wait and see

And for the Band nerds...1, or rather 2, words: ROCK BAND!!! Looks real cool and they said they were definitely gonna get it out for the Wii some time later (well they actually said "Why not?", but 1 can dream right?). Otherwise for music: Guitar Hero III...with it's so called Wii specific rock motions (what can you really do more with a guitar?! [Plastic that is, don't go givin' me examples on Jimmy Hendrix and the likes now...]). So yeah, but as I said in the previous post, we'll just have to wait and see...
