hey Wii people!

go get some gamecube games! I know most of you don't have a GC collection already and there are is a fairly substantial catalog of engaging titles. Should keep you busy until the Christmas rush starts.

You should also be looking at virtual console releases, there's several worth playing.

Then theres always good old Smash Bros Melee.

I just picked up RE4 Wii after only playing it for about 20 minutes on the PS2 so that's what I'll be busy with. Also just picked up Koronopi...whatever...that Marble Madness looking game. It's pretty good so far too.

VC games are going to keep me going this summer as I'll be broke anyways. Also looking to grab Nervous Brickdown and maybe the NYTimes Crossword game on the DS.

Only started buying GC games once I got my Wii. Megaman Anniversary Collection and Megaman X Collection were cheap (used) and great. Also discovered the art-house joy of Killer 7.

As far as titles I'm going to be working on to ride out the rest of July:

*Planet Puzzle League
*Hotel Dusk (I know... I only got like half way though then I got distracted)
*Pokemon (Diamond/Pearl/Battle Revolution/Leaf Green... Once pearl and then Battle Revolution came out, I've gone all OCD on the franchise)
*And I may break down and download new VC titles... Maybe that's why they're being so tight with the releases...

The impeding release of MP3:C has me replaying MP and MP2:E. I never got through the second one, so it seems like a good time. While it's disappointing that the Wii doesn't have much coming until the end of August, we ARE in the middle of the typical summer drought. The nice thing, though, is GC games can be found for cheap and VC games offer some fun, so I'm not really losing out here. One console hooked up gets me a lot of gaming.

It's kind of like what I tend to do when my favorite TV shows when the season finishes in May - watch the DVDs. Gaming drought? Play favorite games or ones you've never had a chance to play.

cmon...with all the news coming next week @ E3, that'll just reset all of the hype for the wii trilogy of games + strikers, the 1st REAL online wii game is coming too.

What is the best co-op Gamecube game? I am looking for something coop that doesn't require that I own 4 gameboys

I just got my Wii a few days ago and I've been playing Godfather and Zelda. I was playing Killer 7 on my PS2, but I think I'll just get it for the GC and play it on the Wii. Might also get RE4 if I get the chance.

Any other Wii games I should be looking at?

A tough month?! - get a grip! there must be some older or less recent games to keep you going for a month. If not, then you need to take a look at your life.

Personally I didn't think there was enough new content in the Wii version of Trauma Center - I actually sold my copy recently.

I finally get back to Super Paper Mario. Buyer's remorse subdued. Play some TMNT, SMB1, SMB2 (ugghh need to relearn it), SotH2, Star Fox 64, and SMW. Might try MP1 and LoZ:WW. Might play some SCII. Might buy MP2:E.

Right now i'm still playing through F-Zero X and on the long, boring period of grinding to get my Pokemon Pearl team up to where i can effortlessly beat the Elite Four and Cynthia

I won't have time to do another runthrough of Metroid Prime 2 before Strikers Charged comes out, sadly enough, and then charged will run me through most of August to MP3 (especially with Online play)

I own Madden, Tiger Woods, SSX Blur, Trauma Center, Zelda: TP, Super Paper Mario, and RE4. I don't regret a single purchase. Tiger Woods is possibly my favorite "surprise", though. I hated golf games before the Wii. Tried it on Wii Sports, loved it, and bought TW07. I'd wait for 08 if I were you though, just another month or so.

SSX Blur and RE4 feature the best control for Wii games yet, IMO.

We just bought Mario Party 8 a couple of days ago. It's engaging. My five year old loves it. He's a hoot to watch him play.
We also got Rampage when it went down to $19.82 at Walmart. He and I have beaten all the cities but are going to go back to unlock monsters, etc.

Im doin the same as B-ry, good chunk of the way through mp2, and I just got to the castle in re4. Theres always the VC maybe rent some other Wii games I dont wanna buy like red steel or wario or something.

Rentals will get me through until Mario Strikers Charged.

I just bought RE4, and I'm about 5 hours into it. I also had bought a PS2 game, Shadow of the Colossus, which I've barely scratched the surface of. And I rented The Bigs, which is much better than I expected. Plus, I'm going to rent Big Brain Academy, Monkey Ball, (still haven't tried it) Alien Syndrome when it comes out, and other rentals.

I won't have any problems for the coming weeks. Plus, I have a job, so it's not like I ONLY play the Wii. (Damn, I wish I worked at some video game website...NintendoWiiFanboy, IGN, 1Up, Gamespot...then I really would have a job to only play the Wii, and maybe PS3/360 as well once in a while, hahaha)

I too agree with eric...I just picked up RE:4 for the Wii, having never played it on the GC. These days I'm playing more GC on my Wii than I am Wii games, so you may as well get something fresh before MP:3 drops...

ya this month will be dry, but i am going to get Re4 wii edition today so thats cool thet should keep me happy until i get mario strikers charged and MP3 but i need to know wen super mario galaxy and super smash brawl will com out!!!My top ten games i will get are...
