So, everyone thank Mike for making this week's video possible and be sure to head past the post break for the usual.

Devil's Crush (TurboGrafx16, 1-2 players, 600 Wii Points)
Wii Fanboy says: download it!
As far as pinball games go, this one ranks right up near the top with Star Trek. It has a lot of depth for a pinball game and, frankly, is the "best vaguely-occult-themed pinball video game we've ever played." Seriously, get it and play it.

Kirby's Dream Course (Super NES, 1-2 players, 800 Wii Points)
Wii Fanboy says: do not download
Oh, how we wish we could get our time spent on this title back. It's a horrible excuse for a Kirby game and a horrible excuse for a golf game. Kirby's Dream Course is a nightmare of repetition and easily forgotten. Leave this one outside to die in the cold.

Shining Force (Sega Genesis, 1 player, 800 Wii Points)
Wii Fanboy says: download it!
An incredibly deep strategic RPG, Shining Force is one great piece of gaming. Featuring your usual good vs. evil storyline (a young and inexperienced fighter leads his band of heroes on a quest to save all from the Dark Dragon), it has everything RPG junkies need to get their fix. If you're a fan of the genre, definitely give this a download.
As always, if you have any tips or rumors regarding Nintendo's Virtual Console service, be sure to let us know and come back next week when we take a look at the latest titles available on the Nintendo Wii.

You called Kirby's Dream Course a crappy game? I'll counter with another flippant remark; these reviews have just lost all credibility.

I havent played Kirby's Dream Course, and while I agree that every man should have its own opinions, I *think* we should trust Dave on this one. After all, he's played almost every single VC game available.
He should know what he's talking about :P
And to those that say "not a crappy game" and "do buy it", go ahead, do buy it. Be happy! :P

I also enjoyed Kirby's Dream Course, one of the best golf-themed games I played. Maybe is not realistic, but it's fun.

When you hate me, you REALLY hate me. Sorry guys, I stick by my word. I very much dislike that game. Regardless of my opinion, though, the whole point of these recurring features is so that you can see the games in action, yourself, and make a better call on whether you should spend the money or not. So, if I've done that for you, then I think I did my job.
*places bullseye on chest*

Part of the problem is that you only showed a small segment of the game played poorly, and that doesn't demonstrate the fun in it. Telling a lot of people to "do not download" with that as an example of, uh, what could be enjoyable about the game isn't quite fair. vc-reviews has a review that shows the same level played with a hole in one; in their review the game comes off as quite entertaining. I understand that their review is much more in-depth than you intend to provide with these summaries, but the complaints in this thread are about a fun, loved game that got shafted.

Oh, how it hurts me to be betrayed so... Kirby's Dream Course was one of my favorite SNES games, and like Super Mario RPG I beat it several times - despite never having owned my own SNES (no, no one in my family either - just bumming off of friends, and lots of airplane and hotel systems)

I love how Kirby's Dream Course is a bad game because the reviewer sucks at it. That game was great for it's time, it's a classic.

Brittai,
I wish I had the time to really review each game, believe me. But, as the site lead here, and a blogger, my hands are full as it is. I try to be as objective as possible and have an open mind when playing the game before recording the video, and my time with Kirby just wasn't fun for me. I realize I can't please everyone and may have lost some fans because of this, but I won't sacrifice my integrity by saying I enjoy a game that I don't, even if popular opinions dictates I am in the minority.
I thank you guys for being civil when arguing with me, though. And, above all else, I thank you for finding the site to be worth your time to read and/or toss in your opinions.
psyborg,
Glad you like it, although I think the video came out better on GT. Oh well ...
Ashton,
My skill has nothing to do with my dislike of the game. I just found it to be boring and lacking in any fun.
