Let's face it, the Wii's lineup sucks ass. Most of the games coming out for it are movie tie-ins or ported PSP garbage. Until someone comes out with another multiplayer killer app like Wii Sports my Wii is going to be collecting a lot of dust.
But, as defeatist as I may sound, I'm looking forward to Mario Strikers Charged being released in North America. I'm not particularly interested in soccer, but I've got some friends in Austin and Seattle I'd like to play against. I'm definitely picking that one up on the release date.

I actually have a new Wii game (new for me) to play (Trauma Center), but my job as a videogame tester has ramped up recently and has kept me from playing anything "non-casual" for about five or six months. I just don't have the energy or devotion right now. Probably a little before year's end, I'll pick back up and really throw myself into it. I've reserved Metroid and will buy Mario...but it will probably be at least October before I play anything with the intent of finishing it.

That's strange. I haven't had much need for the DS in months. Not a pokemon fan, so I'm pretty much pining away there until Zelda.
However, the Wii VC is keeping me plenty occupied. I could spend any free time over the next month in Paper Mario VC. Plus I'm only about a third of the way through Resident Evil 4.
Add to that, Strikers is a must buy for me. So I'm very busy with the Wii. With Metroid only a month away, the barrage of AAA titles officially begins.
