We're digging all of the Animal Crossing love in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. First, we get the opportunity to catch live performances from K.K. Slider and now this item is revealed to be included in the game. Now, all we'd need is Tom Nook as a playable character and we'd be set for life.

Hmm I played a little animal crossing myself. To answer yer question #1 pitfalls in animal crossing occured when someone would enter your town and dig a hole then cover it. if you stepped on it you'd fall in and get stuck for a few seconds.
The fact its in brawl makes for a classy set up. set up the pitfall, someone falls in and become victim of a free smash in the face.

It would be a good combo tactic for C. Falcon, Ganondorf, or Ness (PK Thunder Rush/PK Flash fully charged), and also with a home-run bat
They seem to be trying to add a bit of strategy

ya know... what if Tom Nook was an assist trophy.. he'll come out of nowhere and go up 2 another player (not you cuz you got it) and try to sell you stuff (which you cant actually buy) and since he talks alot it can give another player an oppurtuinty to strike. on second thought....
